Vacation rentals in Chilhowie

This was exactly what our group needed for a ski trip weekend getaway!!! Cozy and quaint, with beautiful views and a nice fireplace inside. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us. The only minor concern we had was how small the showers were in the downstairs bathrooms, most of us used the master bathroom upstairs because of this. Otherwise, it was a great experience :)

Our family of 6 went on our first ski trip at Sugar Mountain and Appalachian Mountain and stayed in Faith's condo. We loved the location. Walkable to many restaurants. We walked to get ice cream at night. Short drive to Sugar Mountain. Condo was very clean and spacious. Faith was very responsive with questions and concerns. We had a little mishap where the bed frame broke the first night upon sitting on the bed (he is 190 pounds). We had to make do and share 2 bedrooms between the 6 of us. Faith had the bed fixed by the next day and refunded us a small portion for the inconvenience. We were grateful for her responsiveness. I can see other Airbnb owners blaming the renters and charging them extra instead. Overall a great experience and great memories for our first ski trip. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.

This place is very welcome very cozy very clean with a beautiful view of the mountains. Very quiet and relaxing place .we enjoyed our vacation and we will come back . The host Melissa was super nice and very thoughtful of everything what you need to make your stay fantastic.we love that place and is highly recommend to give a try .

This is by far the best Airbnb host I’ve ever encountered! They were incredibly warm and welcoming. The guidebook they provided was detailed, thoughtful, and extremely helpful — from local restaurants and activities to sightseeing recommendations, everything was spot-on. Communication was always prompt and responsive. Overall, an outstanding experience — I highly recommend staying here and we will come back!

Amazing views …. This place is so peaceful, I felt like I was at a retreat! The big windows let in so much natural light throughout the day, and when you look out you see the most beautiful view of the lake. The decor and furniture is pristine, making the home extremely cozy!

beautiful place! we definitely want to come back. the layout of the bedrooms was great and the house seemed very quiet even with kids running around. loved that there were toys for the kids to play with. super responsive and friendly host!

Sugar Hill Cabin far exceeded our expectations! It was everything we had hoped for and more. Quiet, peaceful and with amazing views of Sugar Mountain ski resort. The cabin is clean, impeccably set up and offers everything you could ever need (and then some!). We went skiing at Sugar Mountain (a quick 2 minute drive) and tubing at Hawksnest (less than 20 minutes) and enjoyed our downtime at the cabin immensely. Bryan was communicative, helpful and an overall amazing host. We are already planning our next trip!

We absolutely loved our stay! The layout of the home was perfect for our multi-generational family. Plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy time together. The game room was a huge hit with both kids and adults, and kept us entertained for hours. The home was spotless and very well maintained, which made us feel comfortable right away. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place and would definitely book again!
