We really enjoyed our stay. Charlotte was a lovely host, so helpful and friendly. We really liked the place! It was a perfect base for our hikes. Clean, warm and with a well equipped kitchen. A place where we could happily flop on the sofa after a long day out. Many thanks to Charlotte and Stuart!

Really enjoyed our stay at this accomodation in the Peak District. Right on the trails and walkable to the local pubs and cafes! We very much appreciated the little treats welcoming us, and the amenities were perfect and as described. Will be recommending for future Peak District visits.

Lovely cottage in great location. Lots within walking distance - castle, four caverns and great walks - Winnats Pass, Mam Tor, Lose Hill, Cave Dale. We also enjoyed visiting Bamford and Stanage edges by car. We enjoyed meals at Dolly's Tea Room, The George and Cheshire Cheese. Would recommend as a great place for a family of four to stay to experience the best of Peak District.

Ruth was incredibly kind and hospitable during our stay, going the extra mile to give local recommendations, leave out climbing guidebooks and lending us a bouldering mat to use. The cottage was extremely clean and is really functional as well as being decorated beautifully, exactly as the pictures show. Additionally, its location is perfect for climbing, hiking or simply a getaway to a quaint village with great sightseeing and amenities. For all of the above, my friends I are in a hurry to return to this beautiful cottage and urge you to visit!
