JJ's place is conveniently located in a quiet area with various transportation means suited to our needs to get around to various places. The comfortable and modern apartment is sufficiently equipped with everything a home-away-from-home requires... open kitchen, washer & dryer, fridge with freezer compartment, and a small balcony for fresh air! The building has a clubhouse with quiet lounge area, gym facilities, swimming pool and even a small BBQ area for tenants to use and enjoy. The host JJ is very friendly, responsive and helpful. Clear instructions were given upon check-in. Upon request for extra chairs sturdier than the original folding chairs in the place (as to avoid further injury to my unexpectedly injured arm), JJ provided the extra chairs the next day. To mention any downside of JJ's Airbnb, I would say it is the bed mattress, which for my own preference would be more comfortable if it was a little firmer. There is also room for improvement on cleanliness of the place.

Pros: Convenient location-- close to market & restaurants, easy to buy food or eat out. Own washroom & an area where you could cook simple meal. Self adjusted air-con & good wi-fi connection. His unit had all the things we wanted. Host is super nice & helpful, came to bus stop to bring us to his place. He also offered to drive us to border gate of Macau & to airport free of charge, making it so much easier for us with luggage. He was very flexible with check-in & check-out, making it very convenience for us. He is very responsible, quick to response & always tried his best to resolve whatever issues we had. He even treated us with bird nests--something very expensive & very tasty. The best host we have ever had. Cons: the room is on 3rd floor & stairs only. His house is not smoke-free. One of his tenants is a smoker. Unfortunately, I am sensitive to smokes. Good that we always went out during the day & were not affected as much.

Fantastic stay! Super clean and well-equipped apartment with beautiful sea view. Just a few mins walk to the beach, lovely morning swim is a big bonus! Highly recommend this outstanding Airbnb!

The apartment was clean, cozy and had very quiet surroundings. Beautiful mountain and sea views. It felt like I was out of Hong Kong in a good way. It takes less than 5 minutes by foot to reach the well-stocked grocery store, beach, bus terminal and ferry pier. Bus stop is outside the building if you are carrying heavy bags. There are 3-4 steps of stairs to pass inside the building to reach the lift. To reach the building, walk uphill and climb a long flight of stairs. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Bathroom was spacious in HK standards. There are 2 retractable rods to hang wet items and 2 racks to hang clothes/towels. Although there was a lamp, hope the kitchen brightness/lighting can be further improved. Host provided fruits/snacks and a Brita pitcher for drinking water. Bring your own slippers. Check in Instructions should be updated with the button to press before the 4 digit code. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. I would love to stay here again.
