Erica’s place is pure magic! You will immediately become hypnotized by the incredible natural surroundings, and the dazzling sunsets. Erica’s warm welcome on the first day made me feel like we were old friends. Erica was incredibly responsive, and quick to offer suggestions for activities and restaurants. The casita was cozy, spotless, and had everything we needed to cook our own meals. The pool! Oh my word!!! The pool is a dream—it looks out over a lush jungle with a majestic mountain resting in the distance. The place is a gem, but Erica is the Diamond! She baked the most delicious cranberry walnut bread for my birthday! I nearly cried with happiness. Nearly—because I was too busy devouring the loaf. Erica truly made our stay feel like home. She gave me such advice, and guidance. My husband and I were seriously sad to leave. Did I mention Sofie?! She’s one of Erica’s darling fur babies. Sofie WILL steal your heart—as she did mine. If you’re lucky enough to visit Santa Fe, THIS IS HOME!

Great place by the river near Santa Fe, perfect for nature lovers. The cabin is open so you can hear the sound of the river and feel the wind.

We had another wonderful stay with this family on a trip crossing the country. Definitely keeping this place in mind for breaking up the drive. There are two nice bedrooms and a small mini fridge/faucet and bathroom - all we needed for a short stay. We were also able to do laundry which was a big help.

Marlene is excellent she is aware of the slightest detail, she makes you feel confident that you are not alone in the place, that is extremely important. The house is very nice and comfortable, good place, safe and quiet area. I would not hesitate to return to Marlene's house in Santiago de Veraguas; this is a very nice province and with a lot to offer, a good place for vacation. Thank you Marlene.
