The cottage is as shown in the photos and equipped with every comfort! Everything has been thought of. At the table you can sit with a view of the water where many birds can be seen. When we arrived there was snow and ice which was beautiful to see. In the second half of the week it was so hot that we could sit outside. We have enjoyed the place and the silence. Beautiful house, wonderful and very quiet neighborhood by the water itself. Thank you for letting us live here Holida and Chris are great hosts, they were very helpful and quick to answer the question. The house was clean and everything you needed. It felt like home. We visited the place Giethoorn and then stayed with Geesje for one night. It was all exactly as described, the small cozy cottage is right on the farm, the shared toilets and showers are only a few meters away. There's even a common room. Geesje greeted us personally and made us breakfast the next morning. The place is quiet and idyllic, the grill restaurant (2 minutes away) is highly recommended. Thank you, dear Geesje, for sharing your home with us.
