LOVED our time at the Gecko Bungalow. Such a beautiful little space. The pool was great, the bungalow was so cute, but Michelle was the highlight! By far the best air bnb host I've ever had the chance to stay with. She's so friendly and knowledgeable and really went out of her way to give us exceptional hospitality and service. From picking us up, to giving us great recommendations, to whipping up a killer mango daiquiri, she really made us feel so welcome and I hope we get the chance to stay with her again. Really was a treat!

Thank YOU Mark & Miss Gabby! We enjoyed our stay, house as described, friendly neighbors/neighborhood. We took evening walks around the neighborhood to the soccer park and surrounding area. A lot of restaurants, small grocery stores nearby, easy to find & get around Belmopan. Miss Gabby was very helpful, friendly, and responsive to messages.

We had a wonderful weekend at this hidden gem! The atmosphere is amazing, and the view is just to the green. The outside deck is massive and much bigger than we expected and we spent hours on there just to enjoy the view and the tranquility. The cabin is very new and in excellent conditions. Perfectly located at the beginning of the Spanish Lookout, super easy to reach restaurants, supermarkets within a few minutes drive. Great place, great host, we'd be happy to come back!

I was initially hesitant to book at Rosie's place because it's in a Village, but it exceeded my expectations. It's not far from the capital city Belmopan. The drive to Xunantunich took us about 50 mins max, all other attractions were in a driving distance. The area is peaceful and quiet, with an electric gate and security cameras for peace of mind. The house is incredibly welcoming, and the kitchen is fully equipped for meal prep, plus a washer and dryer for added convenience. The host, Silvia, was warm and kind, greeting us with a fruit basket. Thank you, Silvia and Rosie, for a wonderful stay! I highly recommend Rosie's place—it's worth every penny, and I’ll definitely return.

Great spot close to the boats to Caye Caulker and San Pedro. Comfortable beds and good AC. Martha’s Cafe is healthy and wonderful and right next door. Cork Street Whiskey is around the corner and one of the best bars I’ve found in the Caribbean and Central America. After a long day of travel I had a spectacular massage at the Spa. I will come back here again for sure 🌞😊

We’ve stayed at this property before and chose it again because of the nice finishes and the fact it is well maintained. Their bath towels are awesome - like a luxury hotel. Air conditioners work great. Plenty of hot water which is not the case at a lot of Airbnbs in Belize.

5 Stars – A Perfect Stay! I had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at Michelle’s place. From the moment I arrived, everything was exactly as described (if not better!). The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home—fresh towels, a small kitchen, and even a few local recommendations that turned out to be gems. The location was perfect—quiet and safe, yet close to everything I needed. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive; they truly went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. Hi! Our family of 4 (kids age 10 & 12) stayed with Rachael for one night upon arrival in Belize before departing for the cayes. She was extremely helpful and flexible —especially when our flight was delayed. The airport pick-up worked great and we added dinner and breakfast which were amazing! We booked a morning tour to Altun Ha with Rachael’s husband Bruce, who was excellent! We would definitely stay again. It was a great introduction to Belize!
