Monthly Rentals in Barnby in the Willows

Veronika and Peter's place is magic. Peaceful, with beautiful countryside views, it invites you to relax and unwind. We stayed as a family of 4 and it was the perfect amount of space for us (2 adults, 2 teens). Kitchen and bathrooms were also excellent. Everything spotless and well thought out. We LOVED walking in the garden and enjoyed the views of surrounding fields, horses, sheep etc. The house was an excellent base for us to go sightseeing both north and south. It was lovely to come back to the cottage each evening after being out and about. Thank you Veronika and Peter!

Just back from a one night stay here. Nice easy check-in, place was very clean and comfortable. We stayed on a Friday night, obviously some noise from the pub below, but nothing extreme- we all slept well. Host was helpful but also respected our privacy, and the staff at in the pub below were friendly. We travelled with a baby, and had no issues with the apartment in terms of safety. Just a note- the pub very kindly lent us a high chair to take up to feed the baby, however, it didn’t actually fit through the door into the dining room. He ended up having a little floor picnic in the kitchen as everywhere else had lovely plush carpet that we didn’t want to make dirty! It was no problems for us at all- but if travelling with a baby or young toddler it may be worth taking a travel high chair or booster seat for dining table. No complaints at all- really nice stay

The place is lovely and peaceful and was perfect for what I needed. Communication and directions were great and the location meant I got to enjoy some beautiful sunsets after a long day at work. Will certainly be back if I’m in the area again. Thanks Gavin!
