We had a great stay and would come again! Clean, very spacious, comfortable, comfy beds, beautiful location. And the owners were so helpful and friendly!

Airbnb was great for a weekend of fishing. Communication was great!

I enjoyed my stay at the lakefront cottage and the beautiful view of the lake. The home was very clean and the furnishings were very comfortable. My small dog enjoyed fenced backyard and always wanted to go back outside.

Perfect home for a long weekend that included a Notre Dame football game. The home had plenty of space for two couples and the kitchen is beautifully updated. The house is exactly like the photos and even better in person. Lovely large yard, plenty of seating out by the lake, kayaks for use, a firepit; a great vacation home. Bonus on an ND football weekend: much less traffic coming from north of campus, easy drive getting in and out of campus.

Charming, romantic, rustic, peaceful. Cannot overstate how lovely our stay was. The cottage is just as described and provided everything we needed to have the weekend away that we wanted. Highly recommend getting out in the early morning to go deer spotting! We walked the entirety of the trails and enjoyed every bit of it. Definitely staying here again!

A Wonderful Experience at Cozy Hosting! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Cozy Hosting, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The property is located right on the water, offering great views that made our stay even more enjoyable. The home was exactly as described—spacious, clean, and well-appointed. It had everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to cozy linens, making us feel right at home. I loved spending our mornings with coffee on the deck, soaking in the beautiful scenery. The water was clear, and the deck was even better than described. My wife and kids all felt at home and thoroughly enjoyed our week. As a family of four with two teenagers, we were blown away with our stay at this charming cottage in Michigan. Not only was the initial correspondence so welcoming and relational, but once we arrived, we found so many intentionally kind touches throughout the house. Our kids couldn’t have been happier with the thoughtful basket of snacks and my wife and I were very impressed with the unnecessary but incredibly thoughtful bottle of wine, along with a kind note. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, and the three season room with sky high windows was an incredible “get away” for my wife and I to have early morning coffee while our kids slept in. Our kids really loved watching movies in front of the fireplace, which also has a couch/pull-out bed. Additionally, the backyard, which was feet away from the lake, was complete with a hot tub, fire pit (perfect for smores) and paddle boats which we really enjoyed taking out on the lake. We had a wonderful time, and absolutely will be back!

Where do we even begin? From the moment we arrived, it felt like staying with long-lost relatives who actually like you. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with thoughtful touches that screamed, ‘We’re overachievers, but in a good way.’ The hosts went above and beyond in ways that felt almost suspicious. We opened the fridge to find bubbly waiting for us (are we royalty now?), and there were chocolates on the counter like they somehow knew our love language. As if that wasn’t enough, we spent an unforgettable evening soaking in the hot tub while it snowed, overlooking the most serene lake view we’ve ever seen. It was like being in a Hallmark movie but without the small-town drama. Every detail was so thoughtful, from the cozy blankets to the recommendations that made us feel like locals. This wasn’t just a stay; it was an experience we’ll be talking about for years. If you’re considering booking, do it. Just don’t book the weekend we want to come back, okay?

The house was as described and pictured. We had a wonderful weekend. Enjoyed the hot tub both nights. Towels for the hot tub were provided. The house had everything we needed. Close to several great beaches and hiking areas! Comfortable beds and furniture. Very clean.

Literally everything about this place was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished we had more time to enjoy the property longer. The backyard is the lake, absolutely gorgeous views 😍 From the decor to the amenities, no detail was forgotten. Very impressed with the quality of materials, finishes, and furnishings in this home. The kitchen is a dream, bedrooms are beautifully done, delightful bedding, awesome game room/bar space, and outdoor setup has everything you could possibly need. The hot tub and fire pit were crowd favorites. Extra special thank you to our wonderful hosts for the top tier welcome basket and for being so helpful and responsive. Your place helped create a truly magical weekend.

Our family of 5 had a great stay at Gary’s place. The lake, the pontoon, paddle boards and pedal boat were used daily. It is private and quiet. There are plenty of life vests and even some large inner tubes you can take out on the water. The floating dock and lily pad were covered in goose poop while we were there so we didn’t use them. The house was comfortable and had more amenities than most air BNBs we’ve stayed at. Our favorite spot (besides being on the water) was drinking coffee and reading on the covered porch! Would recommend to families!!

The home itself is absolutely stunning—everything is brand new, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the hot tub was such a treat. We are already dreaming of returning in the summer to soak in the lake vibes and energy of Nettle Lake. We are beyond grateful for this experience and for the kindness and generosity of our hosts. We loved our weekend on long lake. We had a nice relaxing time hanging out, fishing, enjoying a fire in the evening, etc. Also very much appreciated how stocked the house was with small things we needed, but wouldnt think to bring, like ziplock bags or just common kitchen tools. Overall, a great spot to chill on the lake and Laura and Steve are great hosts who respond quickly if there are any issues.

Very cute home. Was a perfect secluded get away. The hot tub was our favorite perk, but we also really enjoyed the outdoor firepit and family games and the little extras included. You can tell Brad put some thought and love into the AirBnb. Loved the location. Would definitely book with Brad again. Thank you.

Great little place near the lake! Very clean and I loved the modern decor; there is a lot of attention to detail. Great kitchen and we appreciated the Keurig coffee and complimentary bottle of wine. Beds were comfortable, linens were fresh!

This was such a nice weekend with our family. The cottage was stocked with everything you need! The lake is super quiet and pretty private! The place was clean and remodeled in the inside. Our first time booking an AIRBNB so we were nervous but we are so glad we did!

This is one of the most well-appointed Airbnbs I have every stayed in, especially for someone who loves to cook! It was also very family friendly, as we had a one year old in tow. It is right on the lake and the view is so peaceful and blue. We came in cold weather so did not experience the water or the busy season, but it was perfect all the same. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was very clean. Everything - furniture, appliances, etc. - were spotless and in good working order. There were spots to store things, so even though there were six of us (including a baby!) it never felt cluttered or messy. Lots of games provided and the attached all season porch was nice for reading or winding down at the end of the day. 11/10 stars!!!

Terri’s home is beautiful and clean. Bed is comfy and the extra throw blankets are a plus. Kitchen is well stocked.

Beautiful lake view, immaculate living conditions, cozy beds and indoor seating layout, as well as a perfect fire pit setup made for a wonderful spot for my mom, sister and I to celebrate a milestone birthday. We appreciated the view while we sipped coffee in the morning and Aaron responded immediately when we needed a password to access the television on our last night. An easy 10 minute drive to the quaint village area for shopping and dining, I would definitely recommend this beautiful cottage to others looking to spend time on the lake.

Great location and very responsive host. The outdoor furniture has been updated from the pictures. Hosts really went above and beyond with thinking about the “extras” like having ziplock bags, s’more sticks, a mini speaker and other small thoughtful things available. My only complaint was the size of the bathroom. Your knees are literally touching the tub when you’re sitting on the toilet. Everything else was great and we enjoyed our stay! Loved the lake house decor inside!
