In Villam temporary house

WilmaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We enjoyed 6 days at Adriana's place, we felt completely at home. Apartment was spacious, nice beds, lovely breakfast in the ☀️ Beautiful garden, swimming pool was put back in order this week ( unfortunately still too cold for swimming) Adriana is very hospitable and has a warm❤️, she took us to the train and gave a nice and tasty restaurant as a tip. Nearby a large shopping center, cooked 4 times, great to do in the extensive kitchen. House is centrally located but a car is definitely needed. We went hiking twice at the Amalfi Coast, visited Naples,Herkalion/ Vesuvius,Pompeii. Adriana has a “ wine wall”, two wines tasted from the local wine 🍷 Adriana and family thank you for the good care 😘

Blackbirds' garden

SarahRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Fantastic place to stay in Naples with super hosts. Good selection of snacks and drinks provided. Great pizza place and trattoria within just a few minutes walk. If you’re there for 2 or 3 days it’s worth buying a Napoli Artecard - covers 3 museums and all city public transport- ( we found it useful to take screenshots before going down into the Metro where the signal was patchy). It was wonderful to return to such an oasis of calm after the bustle of the streets. Thank you Stefano and Laura

Lovely 2 bedroom beach apartment near Sorrento

RachelRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I stayed here with my partner and two children (9 and 13). Bianca and Alfonso were brilliant - always happy to help. The apartment was very comfortable, we had everything we needed, I particularly enjoyed sitting out on the balcony with my morning coffee (a real bonus as it was April). As mentioned there is a walk up the hill into town. From the apartment door to the station this took 15-20 mins, we had to walk up the road though as the path behind the apartment was temporarily closed - that would have been quicker. It is such a beautiful location though, with stunning views over to Vesuvius all the way, that we never minded the walk. This was a great base for visiting Pompeii, Naples, Herculaneum and Vesuvius. The local train does get busy but is easy enough to use otherwise. We were glad we booked the airport bus to and from the airport with our luggage! There are plenty of shops and restaurants in town - Alfonso gave us some recommendations which I appreciated. I would recommend.

Casa "Consy"

RichardRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Thank-you Giuseppe for a fantastic stay. My family and I had a wonderful time. The appartment was light and airy, spotlessly clean, with amazing views. The air conditioning was very useful on a couple of occasions when the weather turned a little chilly. Your local recommendations were useful and we settled on Porta Marina Seafood restaurant, eating there on a few occasions given the delicious seafood and warm hospitality on offer. For me, a highlight was starting each day with a coffee on the balcony in the morning sunshine, looking out onto Mount Vesuvius, listening to the gentle lapping waves. Wonderful!

Wonderful apartment SOLEMARE - 20mt from the sea!

ChristopheRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had a nice stay with the family. Communication with our host has always been good, cordial and very responsive in case of any issues or questions. The apartment is well located on the coast with magnificent views of the sea and the Bay of Naples (from the balcony and children's room side) and Mount Vesuvius (from the living room side). The apartment is large, bright, well maintained and fairly well-equipped. The nearby beach is nice. There are shops nearby. The only annoying point was the difficulty finding parking for our car on weekend nights (Friday to Sunday). If you come by car, it is probably wise to use the parking offered by the host.

SEA ACCESS ☀️SOLARIUM ☀️PARKING ☀️ RAVELLO SEASIDE

LeighlanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Loved loved our stay! Very walkable to Amalfi and convenient to the bus stop. We actually enjoyed staying in more than exploring the coast and felt like we had everything we needed a few steps away. The lemon grove and terrace were favorites for us. The view is unmatched and also has seaside access which is super convenient to other options on the Amalfi Coast. The hosts were extremely helpful and responsive in helping us navigate our stay, brought home purchases from their shop so we didn’t have to carry it and so so kind, all the way around. Seriously cannot recommend enough!!! Our only drawback may be that the wifi is a bit slower which isn’t an issue if you do not need a lot for work purposes (which hopefully you don’t). Once we connected it worked for leisurely purposes though and had no issues on our phones.

House on the sea- sleeps 4

KateRating, 5 stars6 months ago
First of all, very special thanks to Roberta, truly the most amazing hostess. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The apartment was spotless and offered seriously breathtaking views, creating the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. Its location was ideal, with great local dining options just steps away. We loved spending every chance we could on the balcony, soaking in the beautiful scenery. Roberta’s recommendations made our dining experiences even better. (We could seriously eat at Armandinos for every meal-forever!) Every detail of our stay was taken care of, making us feel safe and comfortable. We would love to come back someday, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. It was simply perfect.

A delightful property with stunning sea views. Roberto was more than a host and was there for you at all times. The sofa in the room is a little outdated. The location is nice and central for visiting Pompeii and the Amalfi coast.

Villa Fuenti Bay Amalfi Coast jacuzzi chef tour

TrentRating, 5 stars6 months ago
The views at Villa FUENTI are breathtaking. The photos do not do it justice. Amazing villa with plenty of space inside and incredible outdoor space to enjoy. Jason and Gianluca are amazing hosts who will go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and memorable. It is worth mentioning that you must use the shuttle service to take to the nearby towns to eat and shop as it is not possible to walk on the busy narrow road. This was not an inconvenience and the private shuttle is only 3 euros a person and will pick you up within 10 minutes after you call them. If you are looking for a private relaxing stay away from the busy feel of Positano or Amalfi this is absolutely your place. Thank you for an amazing stay !

Elegant panoramic apartment in San Martino

DavidRating, 5 stars6 months ago
This was a fantastic little apartment in Vomero. A great area! Walking distance to so many restaurants, bakeries, great shopping and bars. Also walking distance to 2 funiculars, a taxi stand and the Metropolitana! There is a beautiful old staircase right next to the building that takes you down to the city. We walked down (a LOT of stairs) through the Spanish Quarter, the Maradonna memorial, famous churches and piazzas - had an authentic and amazing lunch and then walked to the funicular for a ride back up the mountain. The expansive view from the apartment was spectacular! to Sorrento and Capri! The host was great and provided us with restaurant and pizzeria recommendations that were very good. You can really just walk down to the busy downtown of Vomero and find so many options!

Wow, if you are looking for an ocean front view it does not get any better than this. Prime location on the beach. Would be fantastic if you have kids. Close to snack bar and some casual restaurants. Was clean. Easy access to the bus stop to take you to capri center and Anacapri. We would stay here again.

The Country House between the sea, lakes and spas

ValeryRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This place was the perfect getaway. Quiet, Peaceful, beautiful landscape, nature rich. Waking up to a the aroma from the citrus trees was all that. We'd like to keep "La Casa en Campagna" secret but It deserves to be shared. The unit was spacious, homey, and Maurizio left us freshly picked oranges! Maurizio is an exceptional host! Our flight got delayed, and he still stayed up til almost 3 AM to help us get checked in, we can't thank him enough for that. I needed a barber and he made a great recommendation. Food, sites, Maurizio is great resource for information. You may never meet a nicer person, ever! Pozzuoli overall is a swell town, with the best of both worlds (mountains and sea), variety of restaurants (our favorite was Trattoria da Rita), lots of scenic spots, a few miles from Napoli if you want to visit the sites or have a night out. Then you come back to Pozzuoli to recharge. Highly recommend!!

Your guide to Amalfi Coast

All About the Amalfi Coast

With rugged cliffs, hidden coves, and turquoise waters, the Amalfi Coast is a scenic 31-mile stretch of coastline 90 minutes south of Naples in Southern Italy. The area has earned a UNESCO World Heritage Site designation for its outstanding Mediterranean landscapes, where 13 picturesque, historic villages sit along the coast — many perched on cliff tops offering dramatic sea overlooks.

Sorrento is the largest town and gateway to the Amalfi Coast. Positano is the most famous: the village is built vertically into a cliff, with stairs leading past colorful buildings to the Spiaggia Grande, the 1,000-foot-long beach. A towering cathedral dominates the town of Amalfi, and high above it in the mountains is Ravello, which has panoramic views of the Bay of Salento.

The Amalfi Coast is known for its seafood dishes, and many visitors come for the scialatielli ai frutti di mare, a long, flat pasta served with clams and mussels. In the village of Cetara, locally caught anchovies are the star of the much-loved colatura di alici, a famous fermented fish sauce that Ancient Romans used to dress their food. When cocktail hour arrives, limoncello is the signature drink of the Amalfi Coast — a refreshing alcoholic liqueur made from lemons harvested from the groves lining the hills.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Amalfi Coast

Summer on the Amalfi Coast comes alive with warm days and balmy nights perfect for enjoying the beaches and al fresco dining. The Ravello Festival takes place in summer, with several concerts in the hilltop town. The highlight is the Concerto all’Alba (Concert at Dawn) in August, when at 4:30 a.m. a full symphony orchestra performs against an incredible coastal backdrop as the sun rises.

Spring and autumn on the coast are a little quieter, but the weather is still sunny. In September, the Festa Del Pesce in Positano celebrates the sea with a feast of locally caught seafood, sangria, and music from folk musicians. In winter, things wind down with cooler conditions and fewer visitors, and you can expect some restaurants and shops to be closed. But whenever you decide to visit, there are a range of lovely villas and houses to rent along the Amalfi Coast.

Top things to do in Amalfi Coast

The Town of Ravello

If you head up the mountain above Amalfi, you’ll find the peaceful town of Ravello, with the most expansive outlooks of the coast. Ceramic shops, gelaterias, and maritime pines line the square of Piazza Centrale near the Duomo of Ravello. When you’ve worked up an appetite, you can find a seat at one of the many restaurants with outdoor terraces, and enjoy a meal with a view.

Sorrento

Sorrento is the largest town on the Amalfi Coast, perched high on a cliff overlooking the sea. Shops, bars, and restaurants line the old town’s winding streets. Head down to the sea below the cliffs and you can jump off the piers for a refreshing dip. The Marina Grande retains a traditional feel, and you can stop for a sample of the local limoncello here — or anywhere else in town.

The Island of Capri

You can take a ferry from Sorrento or Positano to Capri, known for its beautiful beaches, lines of lemon trees, and restaurants serving fresh seafood and pasta. The island is surrounded by sea caves and rock formations, the most famous being the Blue Grotto. You can only enter the cave in a small rowboat, where you’ll find glistening blue water caused by refractions of sunlight. If you take the chair lift from the central square up to Mount Solaro, you’ll get a fantastic view over the island and the Italian mainland.
