quiet country house in natural area and close to Odense

We had a great stay at Jørgen’s home. They have a nice and quaint house with a lot of interest toys for the kids to play with. The garden was also perfect with its play equipment and chicken and rabbits to take care of (optional).

Island house with lovely sea view

TiffanyRating, 5 stars9 months ago
What a lovely experience we had staying in Ritte's home for four nights. This is truly a home and full of personality, plants, decorative pieces and artwork (and very, very, clean). It felt like how Airbnb used to be, staying in a real home for an authentic experience. The living room, dining and kitchen are one great room with a lot of space to spread out. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, ideal for our family. My 5 and 7 year old daughters loved sleeping in the elevated bed, playing with legos and watching DVDs on the TV. The location is FAB, about a 10 minute walk to the brightly colored iconic beach huts, which by the way, you can see from the backyard! Going the opposite direction, about 10 minute walk into the heart of old town of Æroskobing. Tip if you have kids- there's a giant playground on the next property over (behind the greenhouse) that is part of a campsite. We enjoyed long dinners on on the patio while the summer sun lingered. Ritte was so kind and helpful.
The exterior of the house displays a charming cottage wall adorned with vibrant purple wisteria. In the foreground, a cluster of bright pink flowers enhances the greenery. Multiple windows are visible, allowing glimpses of the inviting interior.

Cottage close to beach

Jette's cottage was a perfect fit for our weekend trip. We enjoyed the view and the coziness that the house had. Within a 20-minute drive, you can both get to beautiful nature (Fyns Hoved) and cozy cities. It's an area and summerhouse we'd love to come back to.
A well-maintained garden area features a stretch of green lawn bordered by tall hedges. Two lounge chairs are positioned for relaxation, and a stone fireplace adds character. A dining set with dark wicker chairs is situated nearby, providing a welcoming space for outdoor meals.

Nice quiet place with plenty of room. Great area for families that don't want to stay in the city, but relatively close to Odense (Ringe is the closest town which is also nice).

What a lovely “smurf house”. You feel private even if you're in someone else's garden. Well screened and very cozy/romantic. The best recommendations from here.
