We will begin at the red barn where you will learn about this 12 acre sanctuary and the stories behind the 100+ rescue farm animals living on it. From there we will explore three different pastures that include horses, goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks, dogs, cats and a goose. While you are here we are thrilled to guide you through an up-close experience with all of these amazing creatures while they roam freely. Many of these animals will walk right up to you to take a snack from your hand or allow you take a close-up photo with them! We will sail on canoe through the most conserved channels of Xochimilco wetland. During the tour, we will tell you about the history of the place and its importance to the sustainability of Mexico City. In your way, you will recognize the biological richness like birds, snakes, frogs and plants. We will arrive at a chinampa where you can get your hands dirty experiencing the ancestral technique of cultivation and discovering why it is considered a world heritage. Also, you will get involve in the diary activities in the chinampa like crop irrigation, harvest or seeding. Before going back to land, you will have time to relax and enjoy the peace of the place. We will take a cultural walk around the Palenqe of Benkos, off the beaten path, where you will be immersed in the Africa hidden in Colombia. We named it Black Legacy Experience, because it is definitely an essential place for our black history in Colombia. This town hosts a sort of spin off of Cartagena's history in timeline. There, we meet our friend, the native guide and we start our walk. We'll get comfortable in our studio barn/workshop area, where you'll grab a glass of homemade wine from our organic orchard, wildcrafted herbal tea, and/or fruit-infused spring water from our bar before we get started. Once everyone is settled with a beverage, I'll do a quick demonstration to show you the techniques and procedures for making several different styles of rings. Then you'll get busy working hands-on with different tools and materials to create your own custom, unique ring exactly to your liking. I can provide as much support as necessary to help you to feel comfortable with the process and to create your desired outcome. We'll seal/finish your ring if necessary and you'll take it home with you at the end of the session. For those who are interested, you will also have an opportunity to tour our urban homestead and be immersed in the many endeavors we have going. My friend Cesar will drive you in his private vehicle, from the meeting point in the downtown area (CP 6800), to the village of Arrazola. It will take around 30 minutes to get to Armando's gallery where we will have the experience. In Arrazola, you will meet me, my wife Antonia and our son Alejandro at our workshop to show you the entire creation process of our amazing art: from carving the wood; making natural colors out of local fruits, insects and minerals to painting the figures in the traditional design with acrylic paint. Cesar will translate into English if needed. Now the fun part starts. Time to get creative. You will choose a small plain wooden animal figure to paint yourself which could take up to two hours. The time and starting point is at 9:00 am in Yolo Hostel located in Provenza Crr # 7A- 77 we will go by private vehicle to the Arenales that is the starting point of the ecological hike, we will be back at Yolo Hostel, at approximately 3:00 pm. Visitaremos una Fábrica de Tequila Artesanal. Where we will know the process of making the drink and tryimos of its white Tequila, Reposado y Añejo. Also Visit Mundo Cuervo. In the historic center of Tequila Jalisco, you will know its emblematic places such as the Santiago Apostol parish, the Plaza Principal, the giant letters and the most famous factory shops of tequila. We will have 2 hours of free time so they can eat and continue tasting tequilas. From there we go to the swing and lookout of agaves. In the fields of agave you can take that beautiful photo of the memory and get to know more about the Agave Azul Tequilana Weber plant. We continue our tour to the famous Cantaritos del Guero in Amatitan Jalisco, another very beautiful village in our state. This tour includes transportation from Guadalajara and entrances to all the places you see in the photos. The appointment is on Av. Chapultepec, is a very nice area to stay and enjoy the city. We will be back no later than 7pm at the same point where we left in the morning, as are all Expertos en Tequila!
