Our tour is ideal for everyone who wants to get to know Madrid in a short time but in a relaxed way. Conducted in English. Private tours in English, Dutch, Spanish, French if available and Portuguese if available. In about 3 hours and 11 km biking, you will more or less see and hear everything of the old center while riding a very comfortable bicycle. The “must see” places as well as the hidden corners away from the typical touristic paths. We will ride mainly on cycling paths, pedestrian zones and parks. Of course there will be various stops to take pictures. When we stop, we will tell you about the stories behind what you see and tell our personal experiences of our time in Madrid. After the tour you have an idea which places you want to visit in your own time and in which restaurants and tapas bars you want to have your meal. We really want to make an effort so that you can feel and experience the magical traditions and stories of Spain, which is why we will always be a group of a maximum of 6 people. We will begin our experience by traveling to our first stop, the mythical city of Toledo, a Roman Carpetani settlement dating back to 193 B.C. Our immersion in Toledo's culture will start with a walk through the viewpoints offering the best panoramic views of the city. we will stroll through its magical streets, marvel at its impressive architecture ,and ascend to the largest fortress in the city. There, we will take a break so you can enjoy a leisurely and unhurried meal, as we assure you that in our adventure, the idea is for you to fully enjoy. We will continue our journey to the second destination, which will be the city of Segovia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, we will explore the best-preserved Roman aqueduct in the world, climb to its highest point, and discover one of Spain's most important medieval fortresses, the majestic Alcázar. Starting in the iconic and central Puerta del Sol, we will start exploring Barrio de las Letras, an important local neighbourhood of Madrid, nowadays, a chic bohemian area. You will discover this charming neighbourhood's historical spots on your way towards the Prado Museum. Once we arrive at the Museum, we will skip the queue, entering directly. Before starting the tour inside the Museum, I will give you a short briefing of what we will discover together. I will show you the masterpieces that everyone should see when visiting the Prado Museum, but my main focus is to connect the history & development of Spain with the art collection. Discovering the historical periods of my country inside each painting, understanding the meaning and the importance of the topic in history: From the Flemish painters that inspired the Hamburg family to spread their empire to the life in Madrid during the XVIII century admiring Goya’s paintings. The Museum collection includes Love, Mythology and mysterious legends that would be fun to share with you. After the visit, you can stay in the Museum as long as you wish! An important thing: Please bring an ID with you as we might be asked for one at the Museum.

In this experience, you will visit the unparalleled DOURO VALLEY, the first-denominated wine region in the world and a world heritage site by UNESCO. The day starts at our meeting point and then we will be heading to the Valley. For the drive we will do a loop around the valley to better see and enjoy all the different landscapes, first driving through the N323 with all the astonishing viewpoints of the valley and where we have the first stop, a small winery from a local producer to try his regular wines (reds and whites from the region) and olive oil. The second stop is at Pinhão for a typical Portuguese lunch at a local tavern with great options for Vegans and Vegetarians. Still in Pinhão, we have a 1-hour mini-cruise in a typical Rabelo boat along the astonishing Douro River with the Valley as a background view (the boat cruise is shared with other groups). The journey will continue through the National Road 222, one of the most iconic roads in Portugal, winner of the "World's Best Driving Road Award", which will take us to the second winery for more tasting, parings and story tales from the wineries owners. After that, we will return to Porto and arrive to Porto at around 6:00 PM.

During the trip we will visit waterfalls, swim in a natural thermal spring lagoon (25C year round), water caves, canyons, and a few surprises along the way. It is not too extreme or strenuous as we move to the different locations with the minivan. Let’s call it a glamventure day :) This is NOT a hiking day. This tour is suited for almost everyone. Fit or not, young or more experienced ;-) I will guide you to get close to the massive waterfall, swim at the thermal springs and really almost whatever you are up to. If you are not so active, all the locations are perfect for chilling, taking amazing pictures and just enjoy a perfect day in the nature with fellow travellers. Of course there are nice stops to have local food and drinks. This experience is perfect for couples, group of friends, families, hen/stag dos and solo travellers.
