Immersion in Navarre around the Baztan Vallée Mountains
I am happy to show you a walk from the Col de Belate around 3 large mountains of the Baztan Valley: Le Saioa ( 1455 m), Okolin ( 1355 m ) and the Xuriain (1410 m). This activity is a "modular" distance and height difference loop (7 to 13km max) depending on the groups. I adapt to the pace of walking and condition of everyone. The views encountered are unique: Atlantic Coast, Basque Country, Navarre, Western Pyrenees. Scenery to take your breath away when the weather is clear. You will have the opportunity to discover the green pastures so characteristic in Navarre. You will meet local sheep, the iconic Basque horses (Pottoks) but also a beautiful forest that runs along a creek on the way back. This experience spans a full morning. From April to October, the temperature is often pleasant. The breeze coming from the Atlantic Ocean is appreciated. In winter, this outing is offered in a "short version" on sunny days only. It's not uncommon for floors to be snowy. The experience always ends with a warm moment over a warm beer or coffee ( included in the rate ) at La Venta located on the outskirts of the starting point.
