Join me on this exclusive Whiskey & History experience as we taste our way through Utah’s rich distillation period from the mid-1800’s to present day! This is a 2 ½ hour walking and tasting tour, and takes place rain or shine throughout the year - so dress for the weather! This is a three part tour! First, we start the tour at a designated meeting spot in downtown Salt Lake City and begin with a 15-minute orientation of Utah’s rich history. Second, we adjourn inside to taste a flight of Utah whiskies hearing the stories behind these distilleries. Finally, we return outside for the 8 block walking portion (35 minutes) touring downtown Salt Lake City, where we show you an insider's view of how the city was designed, where the first tavern was, and even the red light district! Walk downtown Salt Lake stopping at the best coffee shops, cafes and local hotspots for the best downtown has to offer. Have a fun Instagram worthy day of light refreshments, drinks and local culture along with tons of tips and suggestions for the rest of your trip. We will also use the local trax train to help you learn how to navigate the city using public transportation. In total we will spend about 3 to 4 hours together visiting some of the most well-known sites in the city such as Temple Square, Gallivan Plaza (one of the sites of the 2002 Olympic games) and Library Square as well as some local favorites such as the Pie Hole, and Ken Sanders Rare Books. Stopping at coffee shops, cafes, and locations based on your interests and food preferences. The best part about traveling with a local is that I can adjust to help create the best experience for the group.

We'll begin with an in-depth tour of our Past Worlds gallery and end with a behind-the-scenes visit inside our Paleo Lab. In the gallery, we will talk about dinosaurs found in Utah (some known exclusively from our own collections) and explore the ecosystems and adaptations that make these animals so fascinating. Inside the Paleo Lab, we will get a sneak peek at the projects that our paleontology volunteers are working on and learn about the techniques used to prepare our most recent discoveries. The tour is for adults and teens 13 years or older. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Maximum number of participants is 10. Admission is complementary with purchase of the experience. Admission fees cannot be deducted from the package price. Tour length is approximately 2 hours or so, depending on group discussions. Face masks are optional and not required.

In our most popular class, you will learn how a piece of jewelry is made through hands-on experience. By creating a bezel set piece with sterling silver and a cabochon, you will learn how to use the tools and the torch to custom make a ring or pendant with a stone you choose from our large selection. We provide all the tools, equipment, materials, and stones... we have everything you need! The experience takes 2-3 hours, depending on class size. Other things to note: Remember your glasses if needed, bring a water bottle, and please tie your long hair back.

You'll come to my ranch in Hobble Creek Canyon where I will introduce you to the horse you'll be riding. I will explain the equipment we use, help you get the saddle fitted to your needs, and demonstrate how to ride the horse and use the equipment. After a short lesson in a confined area, we will venture out onto the trails on the ranch. I will tailor the ride to your experience and comfort level; from a calm ride with me leading your horse through the meadow, to an adventurous mountain trail ride. The ride will take place entirely on private property in an area of exclusive and beautiful estate ranches. The experience, including orientation, lesson, and ride, will last one hour. Additional ride time is available for an additional fee. Participants will be required to sign a release acknowledging the inherent risks of equine activities consistent with Utah Code Annotated Section 78B-4-201 et seq. Many people come to Utah to experience the vast deserts, serene beauty and epic landscapes. But few know that you can experience this so close to downtown Salt Lake City. Along the way we spot for wildlife, with a wild herd of 600 American Bison roaming the island. Amongst the Bison we'll watch for coyote, bobcat, antelope, porcupine, big-horn sheep, mule deer and if the season is right up to 200,000 migratory birds. You can truly experience Nature in its finest form on this beautiful island. We'll pick you up from the Hilton Hotel Downtown (255 South West Temple) We drive the island and visit both the west and east sides, wildlife spot and explore the epic views.

Guests will tour Utah’s first dedicated hard cider manufacturer. This 45-minute experience includes an educational tour of our background, the process of hard cider making, what makes Utah's alcohol scene unique and a possible meet and greet with the head cidermaker. We will conclude with a 5oz craft cider tasting flight choreographed by the staff. ** ALL GUESTS MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER WITH VALID PROOF OF IDENTIFICATION

We will provide a tour of Epic Brewing Company's original brewery followed by a beer tasting of up to four flagship beers curated to the guest's preferences and facts along the tour. We will talk about the history of the building, beer in general, describe the general brewing process, unique qualities about Epic beer, and share a tasting experience. This tour and tasting is great for small groups, team bonding, and weekend getawayers. Please wear close-toed shoes. We will provide safety glasses. If you show up barefoot or with open-toe shoes, we'll ditch you at the bar while the group goes behind the scenes for the tour :(

In this 1-hour photoshoot, you'll create and capture stunning memories that are inspired by your adventurous spirit, embody your authentic personality, and integrate the amazing scenery of Utah's magical landscapes. 1-2 sneak peek photos will be delivered to you SAME DAY! Then 10-15 professionally edited photos will be delivered to you within 1 week (additional edits upon request). We will meet at the parking lot at the mouth of Utah's iconic Big Cottonwood Canyon, and I will lead you to our perfect picturesque photo location picked specially for you. This is not only a great opportunity for you to have some amazing professional photos taken, you'll also be benefitting from my local knowledge about photoshoot locations, as well as many other recommendations for food and activities in the city! Our guests will have a private or small group experience with our alpacas. The animals will be mingle with the guests as they arrive and learn about alpacas. When guests arrive, we will give a short lesson on what an alpaca is and how we care for them. We will learn about where alpacas originate (specifically the family lines of our animals) and why they do well in our climate. Guests will be free to ask questions at any time. Guests will be able to feed the alpacas pellets, touch their fiber, and touch the soft pads of their feet. Alpaca-willing, the guests can also take close-up selfies with the animals. The guests will then be free to mingle with the animals while they enjoy refreshments and play the available backyard games. While the guests enjoy their visit, I will take photos of their experience that will be emailed to them. Our small farm shop will be available for visitors. When the guests leave, they will have a bigger or new-found enthusiasm for alpacas and alpaca-derived products. Guests will know how and why alpacas are bred and how their lifestyle and life-cycle support a healthy earth. Best of all, guests will leave with photos and memories of the unique personalities our alpacas have!

2023 Silver Proof Quarters Now Available. This is a hands-on class where you and up to five friends will be taking silver proof quarters and shaping them into coin rings. I’ll provide the quarters. If there's a special year you'd like to commemorate, let me know ahead of time and I'll see if I can get quarters with that date. We’ll spend a short time going over safety and then I will guide you through the process of making your own ring. By the end of the session each guest will have a piece of handmade jewelry to take home with them. Other things to note: I can also do private events and parties, message me to organize.

We'll start with an orientation & go over some safety protocols as you'll be handling hand tools. Then you'll have a chance to look through samples of finished earrings, pendants, and rings while we talk about what you want to make. You can choose to follow a template or you can create something totally new. I'll be with you, guiding and teaching as you take a raw piece of metal and shape it into a gorgeous piece of jewelry. When you walk away you'll have a ring, but you'll also have an experience with a story to tell. People will compliment your jewelry and you'll be able to say, "Really? Thanks! I made it." Or, "My husband made it for me!" There's something magical about shaping building jewelry with a special person in mind. This is a hands-on class where guests will be taking metal and shaping it into jewelry. I’ll provide enough silver and/or copper for each guest to make a ring or a set of earrings. We’ll spend a short time going over safety and then you’ll have to decide what you want to make. I’ll provide examples of already made jewelry to use as templates if guests need ideas. By the end of the session each guest will have a piece of handmade jewelry to take home with them. Some date night couples like to make rings for each other instead of making jewelry for themselves. Other things to note Bring your eyeglasses. Come prepared to get your hands dirty and dress appropriately.

Welcome to Utah! As a photographer and an avid traveler, I'm a strong believer that vacations need to be documented. My job is to find the best locations that meets your style, and capture your authentic self in some of the most beautiful sceneries Utah has to offer. We'll meet at one of the chosen locations. We'll pick a time to shoot. I offer either sunrise or sunset sessions-its your choice. The shoot will be up to 1hr and you'll receive 50+ edited images. (No unedited/RAW photos will be delivered) Once you choose a date the reservation will only be for those in your group.
