There you can have some refreshments while enjoying the view. The rooftop provides a 360 view of the city and its surroundings. Ein paar Beispiele an meinen Fingern zeigen dir deine Möglichkeiten. In ca. 4h leite ich dich Stück für Stück zu deinem Ringglück. Da ich in meinem Wohnzimmer lediglich einen Arbeitsplatz eingerichtet habe, freue ich mich über zwei Teilnehmer, welche sich an diesem Arbeitsplatz abwechseln. Keine Sorge, während die eine Person sitzt wird sich die andere Person keineswegs langweilen :) Nachdem wir deine Ringgröße herausgefunden haben wird das Material zugeschnitten, mit einer Feile bearbeitet und dann in Form gebogen. Es kommen Lot und ein Lotkolben ins Spiel und bei ca. 1000 Grad Celsius löten wir deinen Ring zusammen. Nun geht es an den Feinschliff: mit einem Hammer wird der Ring in eine perfekte Rundung gebracht und dann mit dem richtigen Schleifgerät immer glänzender. Je nach gewünschter Oberfläche wird der Ring auf Hochglanz poliert oder zu guter Letzt mit einem Hammermuster versehen. Zu der Grundgebühr des Kurses berechne ich 3€ pro Gramm Silber. We will show you our squero (our gondole laboratory), where we restore and handcraft gondole. We will also introduce you to the world of Venetian boats, explaining their characteristics and peculiarities. After this brief introduction, we will teach you how to row with ancient techniques and show you how to use the oars and other tools in order to have a safe and accurate rowing experience :) This experience is suitable for everyone and at any age.

You will learn how to make many types of homemade pasta in a real laboratory of pasta, reviewed among the "best 10 pastificio in Rome" . We will start with handmade pasta, made with different kind of flours: like ancient grain Triticum Monococcum, Grano Saraceno (buckwheat) and wholemeal flour. We will do thin sheets dough, explanation of safe food cutting procedures, realization of three types of ravioli, tortellini, fettuccine with two typical Italian sauces. Throughout the years, we have mastered different mosaic techniques, both traditional and modern. That is why you will find the studio full of original tools, sketches by famous Italian artists, and important mosaics masterpieces. The workshop will begin with an introduction to Roman mosaic technique and history. Afterwards, you will practice the principles of texture, composition and marble tile cutting to create your own mosaic to take home. It is fundamental to us to transfer the real techniques of Roman Mosaic craft. Therefore, your mosaic will be correct and based on Ancient mosaic rules. The final result is your own personal mosaic to take home that will be approximately 7” x 5”, weighing 14 oz. A master mosaicist will share important tips, and provide the assistance you need to ensure the best result. This is a full immersion work experience. You are going to work in an authentic mosaic studio and handle specific tools. For safety reasons, we recommend starting this experience from 12 years on.

Cook with the best Italian chefs ever: obviously our grandmas, the Nonnas from Palombara! The grannies of our small village will show you how to prepare the perfect handmade pasta—no machines, just your hands, the freshest local ingredients, and love. All of these women started to make pasta in their childhood, keeping alive a tradition that is slowly disappearing. And they are ready to pass it to you! You’ll be part of our crazy big family for a day and join us as we walk the tiny medieval streets of Palombara Sabina to Grandma’s kitchen, located in the old winepress where our great-grandpas used to make wine that the community tapped straight from the barrel (or in Grandma's home... according to the weather). It's a special place for our family and the entire village. We will cook Ravioli, Fettuccine and Farfalle... you will be in a food coma at the end of the experience! The Trevi Fountain attracts millions of visitors every year and with me you will find out why! Admire its beauty as I give you the full story behind the fountain and we get to the bottom of the coin-throwing tradition. The next stop will be in Piazza della Rotunda, the location of the world-famous Pantheon. Experience this most important of Rome’s pagan temples and discover its 2000 years of history. We save the best till last: Piazza Navona, which is by far the most elaborate of Rome’s squares. Absorb the ambiance as we get into the rivalry between the artists whose works have defined the beauty of this square. Maximum 15 people
