You will meet about 50-60 locals doing the printing work with the beautifully carved hand blocks. Your textile tour is the first hand introduction to block printing work and during this experience we will take you through the entire process starting from carving the hand blocks by the local artisan, block printing by the local printers using various blocks and colours, and the washing. By the end of your tour you will have a clear idea of the block printing technique and then you can try your hands upon a small piece of fabric (scarf) using the hand blocks and colours . You can carry this printed sample home as a beautiful souvenir of your own creativity. We are looking forward to hosting you for this unique experience. Our Himalayan Adventure will start from Delhi Airport from where you will catch a flight to Amritsar. It will be a 4 day adventure, the experience includes Meals, stays and transportation. All you have to do is sit back and enjoy. we will spend our days as follows- Day 1 (Amritsar) We will spend our first day exploring the Holi city of Amritsar. We will visit the Big three - Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh and the Wagah Border. Day 2 (Dharamshala) We will travel to the beautiful city of Dharamshala, also known as the yoga capital and home to the infamous Dalai Lama. The city is covered from all sides by the mountains and provides a majestic view of the Mighty Dauladhar Range. Day 3 (Mcloedganj) We will Start next day with a trek up the mountains which will lead us to the top of triund. The journey to the top is nothing but magical and when you reach at the top you will see a blanket of clouds beneath you. We will camp here for the night on top of the mountain and enjoy campfire and stories from fellow travelers. Day 4 (Decending from Triund) We will get down from Triund and will reach Mcloedganj Main square. In the evening we will make our way back to Amritsar from where our Whole Adventure started. Once the guests arrive at the farm they will be shown around the 2 acre property , and be in introduced to various rescue horses along with their stories , such as one of our blind horses. Post the farm tour the guests will be introduced to the horses they'll be riding on the basis of their past riding experience, we have horses for all levels i.e beginners , amateurs and advanced riders. Before the riders mount the horse they will be briefed about their safety , the ride will last 30 minutes from the moment the rider mounts the horse. We will decide the concept of the ride on the basis of the level of the rider , i.e if they will walk, trot or canter the horse. Post the ride the rider will get the opportunity to feed a small snack to the horse as a token of appreciation and will also un-tack the horse themselves. If the guests wish to brush the horses the same can also be done. Post the above experience the riders will get a juice or tea as per their preference. Other things to note -We have a European style washroom.- Safety of the rider is our utmost priority , please wear helmet at all times around the horses , do not go close to horses unattended.
