As a returning guest, we suspected we would have a wonderful stay. The accommodation is comfortable and well-equipped with a magnificent view of Badacsony. I especially want to highlight Szilvia's attention and helpfulness, and she was always quick and kind to answer our questions. These made us feel really at home.

Our stay was just perfect! The place was spotlessly clean, cozy and well equipped. We were particularly impressed by the wellness area – the sauna and the Jacuzzi were clean and ideal for relaxing. The hosts were incredibly friendly and always helpful. The location was quiet, perfect for a relaxing time. Everything was exactly as described, if not better! We had a very nice stay in Szatta in the cottage of Bence and Bori. It is very tasteful and stylish and decorated with views of beautiful details. You can see the respect for the surroundings, nature and the old house, nothing modernized is distorted, but furnished with selected pieces and supplemented with modern amenities. A great mix. It is indescribably quiet and relaxing. The communication worked great and we also enjoyed the sauna. All in all very nice :) Thanks!

Amazing place. We were lucky to find it available. The house has absolutely everything you may need for your stay. The views are very nice of Balaton and the House is very well kept.

My family and I had an excellent time staying at Marta’s place. The pool, hot tub, ping pong table and foosball table were just some of the highlights. We loved the extensive amount of outdoor living space. Some days we used the outdoor grill and even made a porkolt over the gas burner which was already full of gas for our use. We had a few ants in one of the bedrooms and Marta was quick to send somebody over to rectify the situation. Lucky for us the house had enough bedrooms where this was a non issue. My son accidentally broke the glass of one of the kitchen cabinet doors and Marta was very easy to deal with it. I would highly recommend this place again and would consider staying again if my family and would re visit the Balaton. Thank you Marta for the great stay.

Gorgeous few days right on the water in beautiful Balaton. Very comfortable house and garden right on the lake. We enjoyed wading out in the lake with our child. The lake is very shallow (around 3ft) for over 100 meters so you can walk out very far on the mud/sand. I would definitely recommend renting/bringing Stand Up Paddle Boards or an inflatable boat so that you can get out to where the lake is deeper to swim. At the moment, these are not provided by the host. There had been a recent invasion of buzzing non-biting midges (Chironomidae/greenish insects) along the shores of Lake Balaton but they only really came out just after sunset and were fascinating to watch. Incredibly relaxing to wake up and have coffee on the dock. 5 star stay!

The stay was great! Checking in was great. The place was as described. Surroundings are quiet. Restaurants and shopping are a bit away. Unfortunately, the check-out was a bit complicated, as the description says you should return the key, but actually you leave it there.

Great house with a beautiful garden. The wines are very tasty. The hosts are super friendly, helpful and responsive. I can only recommend it.

We had a lovely stay at this property. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was fantastic—close to a great beachfront and many supermarkets. The view was absolutely amazing, even better than we could see in the pictures! The host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. No issues at all! Overall, it was a great experience. Especially the sauna overlooking nature was an absolute experience and made our stay perfect. The house was immaculately clean, tastefully furnished and superbly equipped. Everywhere you can feel how much heart and love this place has been designed, both inside and out. The contact in advance was warm and uncomplicated, and even during our stay you noticed how much the host is because his guests feel completely comfortable. We immediately felt welcome. The location in the middle of nature is just perfect for those seeking peace and relaxation. We will definitely be back. It was one of those special places to just make you feel at home. We stayed over the Easter long weekend—two parents with four small kids—and had a fantastic time. Our host was wonderful: friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful. He recommended a great restaurant that we all loved, as well as wineries, local grocery stores, and fun activities for the kids. The home was clean, cozy, and honestly really cool—the handmade woodwork and stonework made it truly unique and memorable. The property was spacious, beautifully maintained, and safe for the little ones to explore. We captured lots of great family photos that we’ll cherish forever. Just a heads-up: Waze and Google Maps took us a few houses down, so keep that in mind when you arrive. Highly recommend!

Host responded within half hour and was really friendly and patient with any query. Home is ideal for getaway from busy life. And I would like to highlight that the view from the terrace is astonishing.

A beautiful place with a pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Peaceful location. Spacious living rooms, outdoor patios and pool area. Great for a larger group. Really enjoyed staying there.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rita’s, great location and very nice host.

This was our third time at this beautiful house and we had a fantastic stay as always. Our highlights were: the garden and private lake access for us, the fenced garden for our dog and the high-speed WiFi for my teenage kids.

Lisa’s place is amazing and at great location. It is very spacious and a stone throw from the lake. Lisa herself is very kind and the check in was smooth and the instructions were clear and accurate. The kitchen is unfortunately not very well taken care of as the dishes were mainly dirty and stained and I wish Lisa was more available in case of unexpected situations because when there was a problem with heating I had to wait for 3 days until the problem was resolved which is not very convenient in winter time. But I can understand that unexpected problems might occur so after all it wasn’t that much of a big deal. However, I think this place is totally worth the price and I also appreciate that there are boardgames you can borrow and it is very well furnished with absolutely everything you might need for your stay. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who would like to spend some beautiful time at Balaton. Thank you!

We were at the accommodation with our children. As described, a very good vibe, kind, peaceful, comfortable house away from the noise of the world. At the same time, there are many beautiful sights ( castles, stupa, castle, Lake Balaton) easily accessible by car. The stove keeps the heat surprisingly long, so we woke up in the morning in good heat. The kitchen is fully equipped! Ildikó is a very attentive host, he explains everything about heating, electricity, and he was waiting for us with delicious noodles! I recommend this place for nature lovers if you hide from the world.

Very well-equipped home, excellent for either a short or long stay. Children loved having toys to play with and some things for the lake. WiFi up to the challenge of two people on video calls at once, and air conditioning up to the challenge of summer heatwaves! Ramona was very helpful with information about the area and even finding a babysitter. Easy access to a lot of interesting places around the Balaton area, but of all of the beaches Vonyarcvashegy’s was the best anyway!

This cottage is set in an idyllic place. The use of a hot tub with a view and having an available fireplace was purely blissful. The host was super helpful, going to the extent of sending us a video of the house before our arrival to show us the amenties! The host even bought a microwave since we asked for one as well!

Extremely kind, flexible host. Despite our tense pace, both in and out went fast. Thank you so much for your hospitality! The apartment is clean, modern, and easy to park.

Grega’s place is in an idyllic setting. The house had everything we needed (except a washing machine). It was comfortable and homely. Grega managed to sort out a wifi issue. They also fortunately responded straight away when the key was not in the allocated spot. Highly recommended.
