'Doug's Mountain Getaway' - Upper Two Floors

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would! The home itself is incredible. The two floors offered a lot of space for our multi-family group. There were plenty of places to tuck away and be alone or gather together. The amenities are extensive and the home also offers a ton of fun extras (games, decorations, climbing walls, net bed, etc). From booking to check out, the owner, Doug, was fantastic. Staying at Doug's Mountain Getaway was truly a special experience. The owner was always quick to respond and helped to set up our trip before we arrived. While staying at the home, he checked in with us to make sure everything was going well and he even provided local recommendations. The little town offered plenty of places to walk to and explore. This place was well worth the money and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful trip!

I had a wonderful stay! The apartment was very clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The stunning view of the mountains was truly beautiful. The host was extremely friendly, easy to communicate with, and always ready to help if needed. I truly enjoyed my time there and would love to come back. Highly recommended!

We arrived and were all immediately impressed! We didn't miss anything and our expectations were more than exceeded. Everything is high quality, spacious and lovingly furnished. The kitchen was also a dream and equipped with everything. The bathroom was also extremely luxurious, rounded off with the sauna, to spend a relaxing wellness weekend. The hosts were always easily accessible and provided us with all the necessary information. I'm sure we'll be back!!

Vlad is a great host, and the place is neat and tidy, on a walking distance from the bus stop for the aki buses. We are deeply thankful for the chats we had with Vlad and for his hospitality. We missed the chance to grab a beer or two together, we will do it next time!

Nina was a wonderful host - always helpful and responsive and left wonderful welcome goodies for us. The property was perfect, well kept, great location, and just beautiful and comfortable. Just a note for others visiting - a large car will have trouble in the underground parking garage. My husband's car was fine there. We had to bring 2 cars so finding street parking for my big van was difficult, but that is not the hosts fault, of course. Just a note to be aware of if you're visiting. :) Many hikers seem to park on that street, plus the residents and it is always full. Everything was great at the apartment! Thank you!

Our second time staying in one of Andreas’ places. A great stay, within 20 mins walk to town. Hot water takes a while to kick in and we could have done with an additional towel for our toddler but all in all a pleasant stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment right above Melanie and Thomas over Easter. From the start, the atmosphere was very familiar and warm – interpersonally, it just worked out great. The apartment itself really leaves nothing to be desired: high-quality furnishings, with a lot of love for detail, and absolutely perfect for longer stays. We were particularly impressed by the large terrace with fantastic views of the surrounding mountain landscape – a real highlight! Thank you for the wonderful time, we will be happy to come back!

We stayed with Simone for 3 days with our children and our little grandson. From the first contact at booking to check-out, everything was great. Simone was always (very short notice) available. We were guests with a group of couples/friends at Theresia's. The place was great, I don't think you can be any closer to nature! The adjacent ski resorts are super accessible on foot or by ski bus. And the ski resorts in the Zillertal speak for themselves. Theresia was a great hostess and was always available to answer questions. We will be happy to come back!

We had a great stay in Gallzein! The cottage is quietly located and perfect for a few days of relaxation in the mountains. The equipment is basically completely fine, only in the kitchen we would have liked a few more bowls/functional pans. But absolutely not worth a point deduction, you could just bring them yourself next time. A car is mandatory and to get from A to B or to go shopping, but that's normal. 😊
