Vacation rentals in Virunga Mountains

Nous avons passé un bon séjour en famille dans le logement de Claudia. La maison est très belle et la vue sur les volcans depuis la terrasse est superbe. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié de pouvoir faire un feu de cheminée le soir pour nous réchauffer, c'était super! le jardin est très beau et très agréable. Claudia et Gasore sont très réactifs et facilitent beaucoup l'organisation du séjour et de ce qu'il y a à faire sur place. Je recommande vivement ce logement!

Alberto is a great host and the Green Villa is exactly as described. The rooms are tastefully decorated, the beds are comfortable, and there is a fully equipped kitchen. The Green Villa is located in the safest area of Musanze, within walking distance of restaurants and coffee shops. It’s an ideal base for exploring the nearby Volcanoes National Park. We were a group of friends but the large garden and trampoline make it a perfect choice also for families with children! We highly recommend the Green Villa for anyone visiting Musanze!

Nous avons passé deux très belles nuits dans la cabane. Le gérant nous attendait directement sur le parking sécurisé et nous a permis de traverser le lac tranquillement (5K/personne). Le logement est magnifique, bien décoré et propre. Attention, il est juste a côté (littéralement à moins de 10m) d'un autre logement en location, ce n'est donc pas le cocon privé et reculé qu'on espérait. Le restaurant recommandé est tout à fait délicieux et assez abordable. Des activités sont organisées (tour en bateau, paddle, kayak, pêche) mais assez chères pour ce qu'on pourrait les négocier ailleurs. En résumé, très beau logement, insolite et reposant pour quelques nuits !

Pros: Very beautiful location with volcano views. Host was responsive and the rooms were comfortable. Cons: - difficult to locate and hard access after rains - no mosquito nets - a little awkward to stay in a nice cottage at the top of the hill with running water and electricity when the surrounding village is without

We have stayed here before and we were happy to come back. The place is peaceful, and the Millers are really friendly and helpful.

Christian was excellent in his communication and responded to my requests very quickly! Jackline, his manager, was so lovely, kind, helpful, fun! She made sure I was well taken care of, came to say hello daily, was a real bonus to my stay! The place is beautiful, well built, thoughtfully decorated, very clean and far away from the noisey center. And the air was much fresher, not stinky from car fumes! There are lovely gardens and beautiful little birds. And the raised Pavillion was amazing, allowing one to view the surrounding countryside and volcanoes in the distance. Highly recommend this lovely place!

My wife and I had an incredible stay during our honeymoon on Lake Bunyoni -- absolutely beautiful surroundings -- there's a circle hut lodge with two large beds and that is very secure -- opens to large front and wraparound deck that overlooks Lake Bunyoni up high from the water -- very peaceful and tranquil and we had the pleasure of seeing several Crested Cranes perched out in front, there's a short grassy area in between the lodge and the lounge area -- where there's an open but covered pavilion that has an enclosed and attached kitchen -- kitchen is rustic but has everything you need to cook with -- stove, pots and pans, utensils, coffee makers -- bring all needed food supplies, spices, butter, etc with you -- staff is always near by if you need anything and they will check in on you frequently -- Josia, Amon, and the others were all awesome ! We mostly relaxed but did do a brief canoe ride (good workout) and took the hike to the blacksmith !! Host always helpful and responsive !!

We really loved Bertrand's place - it was comfortable and felt like a real home. It was a perfect jumping off point for adventures around Volcanoes National Park. Thanks again!

Staying at Villa Kileleshwa was nothing short of a DREAM! What a beautiful home! When booking the place, we asked whether it was family/baby-friendly, and it didn't disappoint one bit. From its luscious Eden-like gardens to a lovely decorated home and just the comfiest beds...it was hard to wake up :-) The wait staff were extremely professional and helpful, but especially kind, a wonderful reflection of how the owners treat them. The only thing I would recommend is that the pictures be updated to reflect the true beauty of the place; they do not do it its due justice :-) :-) I can't say enough how much we loved it. I am recommending this to all my friends and family. They put the V in Villa. Thank you, Yannick, Noamie-Anne, and Francoise, for opening your beautiful home to the world! I hope to be back soon :-)
