Garden Cottage,Cosy,Clean,Private,10 Mins To Beach

Caroline Rating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had a fabulous 3 night stay at Garden Cottage . Emily was super friendly and the beautifully decorated property was cosy and an excellent base . We explored the local area and highly recommend the following ; * Mundesley * Winterton ( we were lucky to have a seal swim alongside the edge of the water as we walked on the beach) * Horsey Seal Colony - ( felt like we had walked onto the set of a Sir David Attenborough documentary !) * Horsey Wind Pump * Cromer ( look out for Banksy’s Art on the East Beach sea wall … just past the beach huts!) * The beach huts at Wells-by-the-Sea * Sandringham Estate Park * National Trust Blickley We loved watching the squirrel on the fence through the beautiful windows and were really grateful for the treats which Emily had left us . Fabulous experience all round 🌊🦭 xx

Hafod Y Llan Bach - a real escape to the country

NatRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I had an amazing time staying here. It’s a real hidden gem. There are amazing views and walks literally on the doorstep and the cottage is very comfortable and great to relax in. You have everything you need in the cottage with lots of space, a good kitchen and nice bathroom. Lots of really useful info provided by Lucinda to maximise your stay - thank you! The place is perfect for dogs too! The bi-folding doors are a great touch for when the sun is shining. If you like to get out walking, running, cycling, then you’ll love it here.

Beautiful period home on loch, wonderful views

OmarRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Simply amazing. Honestly at a loss for words describing how spectacular Duncan’s cottage is. The place sits high up on a private road overlooking Loch Earn with towering mountains of the highlands visible from every window, surrounded by amazing trees and lush ferns providing the impression of living in a fairytale-like setting. The house itself is lovely, appointed with an amazing kitchen (that oven is lovely!), plenty of plush furniture, fireplaces stocked with wood for cozy evenings, and comfy bedrooms for a good night’s sleep after a long day of adventuring the Scottish countryside. Bathrooms are fantastic as well and the hot water comes on instantly, which is pretty rare for housing that’s 100+ years old. The porch is fantastic for quiet self-reflection and enjoying your morning coffee while the Loch adds a mysterious aura as the mist and fog moves in and out with the rapidly changing Scottish weather. We even could hear Red Deer roaring in the distance.

Beautiful Thatched Cottage Annex with Piano

DanielRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Having just spent the night at the Annex. I can truly say that Cathy is a wonderful host, fast to respond and considerate of all our needs. The Annex itself is a real gem tucked away in a quiet, peaceful area. The local shop is only a 30second walk away and well stocked. There is plenty of choice food wise and Cathy is very helpful in providing details of these and menus. We wanted for nothing whilst visiting and found ourselves getting the break away we needed and more. The piano was a nice touch and fun to play.

Natures Edge Cabin

BradleeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Wow, thank you Steve! I booked this as a surprise for my girlfriend and it didn’t disappoint. The cabin and facilities are amazing and every where you look it is just beautiful. We were blown away by everything Steve has done with the place. Our favourite was the hot tub but we also enjoyed the sauna and the laid back dome, as well as everything else. We also had spa treatments which were amazing and the therapists were brilliant. We would highly recommend having a treatment while staying here. Steve is an incredible host and not only was he super helpful throughout our stay, he also helped me, organise and arrange the perfect proposal to my girlfriend. From beginning to end he was just amazing.

Snowdon Eye bespoke build dome

SophieRating, 5 stars2 days ago
A one of a kind stay in the Snowdonia National Park. Great base for an adventure in North Wales. The location was ideal, stunning views (despite the weather), cosy and welcoming. Hosts were responsive. Accommodation was comfortable and clean. All the amnesties you would need to be self-catering just remember to bring your own milk. If visiting again I would take a torch to access The Eye and the bathroom safely after dark. Also, there is only one plug socket in the accommodation but ample USB (not USB-C) sockets. Diolch yn fawr am y croeso cynnes ❤️

Cosy, straw bale barn, walking access to Dartmoor

FrankieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The accommodation was beautiful, in an amazing location if you’re looking for relaxation and great nature. We went to the Cott Inn for dinner and it was lovely, a cozy pub with amazing food, just what was needed after mooching around totnes and local towns. We would recommend using the Kamoot app with the recommended routes logged, we did a great (slightly wet) walk straight from the air bnb and into the Moore! We would recommend to anyone and already thinking of coming back in the summer!

Skye Red Fox Retreat - stunning luxury glamping

VictoriaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed here for five nights for our honeymoon. It was the perfect setting. So peaceful and quiet with amazing views. Alex and Nicola were great hosts and ensured we had everything we needed including fresh eggs, milk, bread and butter and more. We were welcomed with freshly baked cookies. They were really yummy! The place was clean and tidy with a well equipped kitchen where we cooked a couple of evening meals. We appreciated the food recommendations particularly for brunch and the suggestions for local walks. We enjoyed relaxing in the outdoor bath and just taking in the views. We would have no hesitation recommending Alex and Nicola’s place to others and we are already planning a return trip to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you Alex and Nicola.

Your guide to United Kingdom

All About United Kingdom

A mix of thousands of years of tradition and forward-looking architecture, the United Kingdom offers vibrant cities and peaceful rolling countryside in equal measure. From the bustling streets of London and Belfast to the peaks and slopes of the Scottish Highlands, captivating cities and lush landscapes define the diversity of this unique island country. The United Kingdom, located off the northwest coast of the European mainland, comprises the component nations of England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. London is its metropolitan epicenter, home to a strong literary and musical heritage, along with world-class museums like the National Gallery and sprawling parks like Regents Park and Hyde Park.

History is at your fingertips as you explore ancient castles and churches in the footsteps of Scotland’s clans in Edinburgh, while Wales’ Snowdonia National Park offers bucket-list-worthy hiking and majestic mountain views. The UK’s metropolises, medieval stone villages, and hidden coves have been immortalized in film, literature, and postcards, from the spectacular rock formations of Northern Ireland’s Giant’s Causeway to the surf-ready beaches of Devon and Cornwall in the southwest, where sun-seekers line the shores and feast on traditional fish and chips.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in United Kingdom

The United Kingdom has a relatively temperate climate and doesn’t experience extremes between seasons. Springtime is a great time to visit, with the city parks and countryside in full bloom and a big rugby tournament taking place between England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, France, and Italy. Go back in time at the Highland Games, one-day events across Scotland from May to September built around traditional sports such as the tug o’ war and the caber toss, or take in the internationally renowned theater, comedy, and performing arts festival in Edinburgh throughout August. Cool, brisk fall days are ideal for countryside drives to enjoy the changing hues of the leaves in the Brecon Beacons National Park in Wales. And around every November 5, bonfires and firework displays light up the night sky across the UK in celebration of Guy Fawkes Night, the failure of the Gunpowder Plot to blow up the Houses of Parliament in the early 17th century. Whenever you visit, bring a waterproof layer — there are potential rain showers at any time of year.

Top things to do in United Kingdom

London’s East End

A walk around the English capital’s winding eastern streets provides a taste of London’s international mix of cuisines and cultures. Starting at Aldgate East underground station, head along Commercial Street until you reach the centuries-old Spitalfields Market. Every day, the covered courtyard is packed with stalls selling antiques, crafts, handmade clothing, and records, as well as street food and snacks. There’s a monthly art market here too. Along Brick Lane, near Shoreditch High Street, you’ll find vintage clothing stores and quirky boutiques, fragrant curry houses, and large-scale street murals, as well as a Sunday flea market.

The Northern Lights in Scotland

Scotland is an excellent place to spot the Northern Lights. Fall and winter are the best seasons to visit, with long periods of darkness, little light pollution from nearby cities, and a high number of clear nights — ideal conditions for observing the majestic colors that light up the northern sky. While you can see the lights from anywhere in Scotland, Galloway Forest Park in the southwest, the Outer Hebrides, and northern Scotland offer the best chance of seeing the auroras.

Belfast

Famous for its maritime history and grand Georgian buildings, Belfast combines easy access to the picturesque Wild Atlantic Way driving route and the ancient volcanic Giant’s Causeway with the buzz of the Linen District’s bars, eateries, and comedy clubs. You’ll also have plenty of chances to sample the produce of nearby breweries and distilleries. You can take in the city’s multitude of murals on foot or be guided by a local taxi driver — or explore art and history on a grander scale at the Ulster Museum.
