Vacation rentals with a kayak in Súdwest-Fryslân

It was a really cozy and lovely Place! Everything that we needed was there. We would definitely come back. For our dog it was perfect because of the fence around the garden. All in all the 5 Stars are worth it!

Spacious, clean and well-equipped house. It's in a quiet and very picturesque village (little Gieethorn). Micaela was very kind and welcoming during check-in. We spent 6 days in serenity and comfort and visited various sites in the Netherlands by car (Amsterdam, Keukenhof, Leiden, Haarlem, Volendam and Marken, Zaanse Schan, Gieethorn) knowing that we would return in the evening to a perfect house to rest. Highly recommended.

Wonderful House at the center of the nature!

We had a lovely stay. The cottage is beautiful, really clean and provides all the comforts you want. The view of the water from the cottage and the terrace is really great! Outside you can also sit quietly, while, if desired, there is also plenty to do in the region. We thought it was definitely recommended!

We had a wonderful vacation. The vacation home is exceptionally well equipped with everything you need and very comfortably furnished! You feel right at home! The contact with Renske was super nice and reliably fast. You can only recommend the house!!!

We had a great stay, the cottage is equipped with everything you need, it is very cozy and warm and the view is just fantastic. Hagar was very accommodating, nice and always available, even when we had a small problem with our shower. Everything was perfect, we highly recommend the place, it was a wonderful holiday! The islands of Ameland and Schiermonnikoog are a must see :-)

The place was quiet. The cottage was very clean and nicely furnished. So you felt right at home. Victor and his wife were very friendly and always responsive. The property can be fully recommended. There is a lot of beautiful things to explore nearby, such as the center of Edam or the promenade of Volendam. Be sure to travel by bus to Amsterdam. Super easy and you're in the city center very quickly.

We really enjoyed the Christmas holidays and the turn of the year in your beautifully decorated house. We felt like at home from the first second. Decorated with a lot of love for detail, even with a decorated Christmas tree, invited you to linger - whether at the large dining table with many board games or in the cozy sitting area by the crackling fireplace when reading a book. The property located directly on the water is also wonderful for watching nature and birds at sunrise or sunset or taking beautiful walks in the area with the dog and visiting small towns. During our stay we lacked nothing. Paul was a fantastic host who proactively responded to open questions within minutes. We also had the opportunity to check out later. The house is the perfect place to get away from the stressful everyday life and unwind.

We enjoyed our stay at Wendela's. We were warmly welcomed. The "Rosenhäuschen" was exactly what we had imagined. It was our home away from home. And we'll be back for sure.

Absolutely a highlight! What a lovely home with lots of privacy, well appointed kitchen with good stuff and lovely beds. Beautiful boat rented and sauna on the water was really great!

We enjoyed our stay, and the surroundings were beautiful and calming! The cottage is well-equipped, overlooking the water. It felt like home instantly. I wish we had stayed longer to make use of the floating sauna. We will certainly return and recommend it!

A lovely place if you want to relax. The extra attention was also great what can a person feel welcome.

Wonderful place. Beautiful nature. Impeccable service. In April, we, two families with children, a baby and a dog, rented the house "Skries". The house was very cozy, warm, clean and equipped with everything you need to live. And with a beautiful fireplace, for which firewood has already been procured in advance. My kids, friends and I had a great time: sauna, bike or boat rental, table tennis, playgrounds for children, board games, hiking or just watching the beautiful nature. There's something for everyone.

Exactly like I imagined if not better!

Communication was great! The cottage has a wonderfully quiet charm and falling asleep in front of the fireplace was very comforting. We rented a sailing jolt and spent all day on the water! Everything was super flexible. Natasja is very open and friendly to the hosts. I look forward to coming back soon, but then for a longer time!

Great house in quiet surroundings with very likeable hosts. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the surroundings. We will be happy to stay here again if we visit North Holland.

beautiful eco-lodge with all the comforts in a beautiful location. there are trampolines, a playground, kayaks, go-karts and a fire pit. always something to do.

The stay was beautiful, really enjoyed watching the birds from the window and using the kayaks. The little cabin was beautiful, and the record player was a nice touch!! We loved listening to Nina Simone while playing Rummikub.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful house right on the waterfront! The property offers exceptional space and is superbly equipped – ideal for larger groups. We were received in a very friendly manner and immediately felt at home. Particularly practical was also the possibility to easily rent a boat right in front of the house. Our entire group was thrilled, and we'd love to come back. We can highly recommend this house to any group looking for plenty of space and comfort!

We had a lovely two-day weekend getaway with our children, aged 8 and 9. They absolutely loved it! The house was incredibly charming and peaceful. Despite the 0°C temperature outside, it was perfectly warm and cozy inside. We’re already thinking of coming back during the summer months to enjoy it again. The only downside was that the bed linens needed to be rented separately. We brought our own, but putting them on and taking them off was a bit of a hassle. :)

We had the most wonderful stay in this charming cabin nestled on the property of a windmill in Alkmaar. From the moment we arrived, our hosts Kelly and Han made us feel completely at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect—so kind, welcoming, and full of great local tips. The cabin itself is a dream—coziness taken to the next level. Every detail was thoughtfully put together, and it was the perfect place to unwind to relax. Waking up next to a windmill felt like something out of a fairytale. Alkmaar itself is a beautiful village full of history, with adorable shops and restaurants to explore. The charming canals add to the magical atmosphere, and it’s easy to hop on a train to Amsterdam for a day trip. We’re already dreaming of our return and feel so lucky to have made such lovely new friends in Kelly and Han. Highly recommend this magical spot to anyone visiting The Netherlands!

We loved our time at Pean! It was beautiful, serene, and the house looked exactly like the pictures. I was happy to see the map of the community ahead of time so we could find our house (we arrived after dark) but they were also very proactive ahead of time in explaining how to find it. The fireplace was wonderful- very cozy and they provide some wood to start you off with. (They also sell more on location if you don’t want to bring your own.) And we took advantage of the floating sauna- easy to book, clean, and nice view of the night sky. Our kids loved the play area and assorted outdoor toys. Our dogs were thrilled to join us on vacation (by the way- pristine clean- we couldn’t tell other dogs had ever been!) All in all- we were very pleased and we would highly recommend it.

We stayed with our 5 month old for a week. Charming place, extensively equipped kitchen, wonderful living room and terrace to enjoy a good time. And Janneke was always super helpful, forthcoming and made us feel welcome!
