We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation in Leeuwarden. Our host gave us a warm and personal welcome, which made us feel right at home. The room is cozy and beautifully decorated, with charming local and personal touches throughout. The location is perfect! Just a short walk to the city center.

Iris is the kindest and loveliest host you’ll ever meet. Nothing will stand in her way to make you feel at home and feel well taken care of. She prepares the heartiest breakfast platters and lets you enjoy her wonderful garden. Her space feels very private although she’s always around to answer questions or have a chat if you want. We really enjoyed laughing and joking with her and almost accidentally took her very sweet cat home :) Thank you so much Iris for the wonderful stay and we hope we may meet you again!

We really appreciated their welcome which was warm and friendly. The breakfast was fantastic and only a 10 minute bike ride to Meppel with great bars and restaurants. It was a very peaceful area and we felt safe. We would highly recommend this fantastic accommodation

Vidi lived in the accommodation as described and was also responsive to questions. She is very friendly and helpful. I had a problem with the rented e-bike and she called the store directly. Her private area is separated, so you still have your own privacy and your own entrance. When she noticed that I was arriving earlier in Alkmaar and leaving later, she offered me an earlier check-in and a later check-out. In advance, she gave me good tips for a supermarket and e-bike rental on request. It's about a 25-minute walk to the center, but I knew that before. But you can also take the bus. The bus stop is around the corner. I really enjoyed my stay and would book with Vidi again anytime.

Warm welcome with coffee and nice waffle. A few things explained about the island, the surroundings and the nice things to visit and do. Walk through the room/apartment together. Marianne and Maarten are friendly and warm people you can always ask for things and they also give tips. The accommodation is nice and quiet despite the fact that it is on a main road. Excellent layout and enough space for 2 people. Just a pity that the TV is in the sleeping area, but that can be solved by watching TV via your tablet/phone /laptop. Had a wonderful holiday and we would love to come back sometime. Marianne and Maarten, thank you for the good care.

An experience to do, convenient to get to Texel

We felt very comfortable with Sharon and Djurre from the beginning. They are particularly friendly and approachable hosts and are helpful in every way and open to questions. The apartment is fully equipped and very comfortable due to a generous interior design. Every morning, Sharon prepared a lavish and very varied breakfast that we very much enjoyed. The location of the apartment is very convenient: You can easily and quickly reach many interesting places and tourist attractions from here. In short, we can warmly recommend the place to everyone. A lovely room! On the outskirts of the forest and walking distance to the beach. Heerliik is quietly located . The room is spacious with nice ambient lighting. There's a table with lovely chairs. We slept well and enjoyed the delicious breakfast. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay at Bianca’s place! The surrounding area is peaceful and rural, and not far from the beach/sea. There is a bus to the train station in Hoorn, though it doesn’t run late. We didn’t have a car but got along fine by bus/walking. Great place for a family stay. The alpacas and other animals were so cute! We were all quite taken with them, and we all had our favorites. Breakfast was really good - fresh farm breakfast with homemade yogurt and jams, and eggs from the farm. Bianca is super friendly and helpful! We would recommend Bianca’s place to anyone!

This was the perfect end to my vacation ❤️ Despite the fact that no one else was there, I was served a delicious full breakfast in my up, made with love! Beds sleep great, and it was wonderfully clean 😀 Super nice received by Gonnie and Richard. The perfect address for when I miss the last boat home again! We will definitely see each other again 😀 Thank you!!

At Sonja's place, we were guests for the second time and felt at home again immediately. Sonja is a wonderful and warm host. You can also tell from the wonderful breakfast that she prepares every day full of love and varied. Definitely recommend. We are already looking forward to our next stay with Sonja.

A wonderful stay with a very nice and helpful host! We found the room very nice and a great view of the pigs. Nothing was too much and the breakfast was very varied and very very tasty. Perfect distance to the beach and village. We would love to come back!

Nice room, clean and we were received nicely. The bed was very comfortable and the outdoor shower should definitely be tried!

Words can’t describe how ideallic this place is. It’s like it’s out of a picture book. As we arrived, just metres from our cottage window there were water hen chicks and their mum paddling in the pond. Sanne and her family were very friendly and bring a peace and warmth to this stay that is rare. A highlight of our 12 nights in Dutch airbnbs.

Our stay at Matthias's definitely deserved 6 out of 5 stars! A sparkling clean room, a beautiful garden to sit in the sun and also such friendly, warm hosts. Matthias and his partner go to great lengths to make you feel at home as a guest, even if you're only staying for one night like us. Your house and garden are designed with a lot of love for detail, which you can also feel directly with the excellent breakfast, which leaves nothing to be desired. We will be happy to come back, then for a longer stay! Thank you, you have perfectly rounded off our short vacation!
