A hidden gem, just a few hours drive from Stockholm. Frida's responsiveness to our questions before the stay was only one of the many ways in which this property outperformed our best expectations! The property is right on the water, with stunning views of the ocean from most bedrooms. The kitchen was fully equipped to satisfy the most demanding chef. The beds in the five bedrooms were extremely comfortable. In addition, the spacious hot tub and sauna provided the extra comfort for our weekend of relaxation. We hope to be able to plan another visit during the summer to experience this splendid location when it looks less like winter wonderland :) We highly recommend this property to anyone looking forward to a relaxing experience away from the noise of the big cities

Mycket nöjda med både boendet och värden Fredrik! Vi sov en natt, 2 vuxna och 2 barn, inför Vasaloppet. Rent och ombonat, fin och väldigt mysig inredning, fanns allt man behövde i köket, men också massor med spel och bra ljudanläggning, perfekt när det var mello på teven! ;) Parkering nära. Värden har varit väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam, dels bra med info innan men frågade bland annat också om vi kommit på plats ordentligt osv, sådant uppskattas! Ett boende att rekommendera! Vi kommer gärna tillbaka hit om vi har vägarna förbi Rättvik igen!

We spent five days in Maria’s beautiful home and absolutely loved it. The house is wonderfully cozy—there’s a fireplace upstairs, plus a second room with another one and spare bed. We adored the authentic Swedish character of the place, especially the kitchen. Maria was warm and welcoming, offered excellent local tips, and was always helpful. The location just outside Leksand is ideal, with plenty to see and do nearby. We wholeheartedly recommend a stay here.

Vi älskade varje minut i denna fantastiskt fina stuga! Det var rent och fint och vi saknade verkligen ingenting. Platsen är dessutom så fantastiskt vacker med härliga solnedgångar över Orsasjön. Hit kommer vi gärna tillbaka fler gånger.

Känslan när vi klev in på logen var magisk, allting var precis så fint som på bilderna. Så hemtrevligt, välstädat och vackert inrett. Vi njöt av att sitta framför brasan och se ut på det snöklädda landskapet eller ta ett bad i det fräscha badrummet, varvat med lugna promenader i skogen. Lejvas bemötande var mycket trevligt inför och under besöket med tydliga instruktioner vid in- och utcheckning. Även om platsen säkert är ännu vackrare på sommaren så var det väl värt ett besök på vintern för den som längtar ut till lugnet och stillheten på landet. Det här boendet får självklart 5/5 stjärnor från oss!

Very nice apartment right by the ski slope. Perfect for young families teaching children to ski for the first time.

Fantastisk stuga i ett magiskt lugnt område! Stugan är i utmärkt nyskick och har allt man behöver, till och med vackert utsikt. Jag hade en trevlig kväll nere vid vattnet, som befinner sig på tomten också. Värdarna är trevliga och reagerar snabbt på meddelanden. Hade en underbar visstelse och skulle gärna vilja stanna här igen (och lite längre). Tack!

We had a great stay! The location is beautiful and very quiet – perfect for a relaxing getaway. The house is super cute and cozy, and the host was very friendly and flexible with the check-in. One small thing to note: the winter garden with the big table for 8 people isn’t heated, so it can get a bit chilly in colder months. Also, the stove is a bit slow. But overall, everything was great and we really enjoyed our time there!

Idyllisk stuga med egen badplats

Wir haben in Matildas gemütlichem Häuschen direkt am Molnbyggensee sehr schöne, ruhige Wintertage verbracht. Der Blick auf den zugefroren See und die Schneelandschaft aus den großen Fenstern war sehr idyllisch! Auch die Sauna unten am See können wir empfehlen. Matilda ist sehr hilfsbereit und bei Fragen gut erreichbar! Gerne würden wir wiederkommen - im Winter als auch im Sommer!
