Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Sechelt Inlet

We had a lovely stay at Ariella’s house with our 2 kids and my parents. The house is a great size for a family. We loved the kitchen as it is quite large, has a nice large table and lots of windows at the seating area. My kids enjoyed the backyard and trampoline as well! The location is great, lots of restaurants around and very central. Would highly recommend this place for families!

We had a great time, Donna’s place was exactly what we needed as a home base while we explored the area. Our area of the house was perfectly comfortable for the 3 of us, and well equipped for our visit. Thank you so much!

Beautiful space and area overlooking the ocean, awesome having our own beach, and use of kayaks etc. Sleeps 6 comfortably but the hidabed in living room for 2 more guests very uncomfortable, needs a foamy on top of the springs! Loved the sunroom and games box, lots of different sitting areas❣️

The unit is exactly what we looked for our 2 day trip in Vancouver: a one-bedroom unit in main floor separately from the main house and has everything from fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, living room and laundry. The location is quiet and alright as we had a car. Another good point is the owner has a herb garden in front of the unit which maybe very greenery when the season comes. Will stay again when we visit Vancouver.

Our hosts were very responsive when we communicated. The home had very comfortable beds and it was kept clean. Nice fenced yard for our dog and a walking area at back of house, accessible by gate. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Helen’s place was great for our family stay of five adults, and we especially appreciated that each bedroom had its own bathroom and shower. The neighbourhood was quiet and peaceful. The unit was clean and fresh, and furnishings looked and felt new. We had no problems at all, and would book again. Helen et. al were responsive to our questions, and provided necessary information in a timely manner. I would recommend that everyone check out this listing for their own visit needs.

Stephen’s place was a fantastic stay! It was clean, cozy, and easy to find. The property had everything you could need for a comfortable visit. It’s also pet-friendly, which was perfect—my dog was happy and loved having a yard to play in. Great value and highly recommended!

Wonderful suite on the lower level of a character house in East Van. Quick, kind communication.. clean thoughtful space, beautiful little patio zone.. super close to everything on Commercial Drive and just down the road from a fantastic park (open green space, community gardens, tennis courts with views of the mountains!) Mieke was kind to let me check out late as they didn’t have someone arriving today which made my travel much smoother. I’d stay again in a heartbeat. You can hear the family upstairs from time to time but even less than I expected. Bed seemed very new - firm but comfy - having laundry is always a bonus. Loved it all. Thanks!

We stayed one night at Russells place. The location was conveniently situated for us in relation to the ferry terminal. What we appreciated about the location was that we had our own entrance and space. It was lovely to be able to sit outside on the balcony. The bathroom was spacious, with nice toiletries. Unfortunately, we couldn't cook in the kitchen, but we were aware of that as it was mentioned in the description. Luckily, the Nanaimo bars made up for it. What we personally find a bit of a shame — and this unfortunately happens at almost all Airbnbs — is that there’s no personal contact anymore. A key lockbox is very convenient, but we also feel it takes away a bit of the personal touch.

Hulya and Muzo’s place was perfect! I truly appreciated the cleanliness of the apartment; it was absolutely spotless—definitely a 10/10! The hosts were incredibly warm and accommodating, making the check-in and check-out process feel effortless. Their thoughtful recommendations for local activities and dining options were invaluable and really enriched our stay. The location of the apartment could not have been better! It was conveniently situated near transit lines, offering easy access to a wide array of delightful restaurants and charming shops. Coming from a bustling city, I was pleasantly surprised that the outside noise didn’t disturb us at all. In fact, it felt just like home. I can't wait to return and would certainly book again the next time I'm in town.

After travelling to Vancouver, many times in the past few years, I have to say that this is our favourite Airbnb. The location is fantastic. It’s close to the university many restaurants and the beach. Patrick was amazing host too, came out and met us when we arrived and was always responsive to my questions. He allowed us to plug our car into the garage outlet. The place it’s itself is spotless and brand new with all the amenities listed. Comfortable beds which is always a very important part of traveling! I’ve already put it in our favourite category for Vancouver stays. We will be back!! Be sure to get a cinnamon bun from Ground for Coffee. It was epic!!

We had a great stay at the rental. In particular, we loved the location and proximity to great cafes and restaurants on Main Street. As we walked around the neighbourhood, we were fortunate to see all the Cherry Blossoms which were so pretty. Finding free street parking right outside the house was very easy. Hosts were lovely and the suite was comfortable and met our needs for our short stay.

Well equipped with coffees, teas and as many cooking and types of utensils as you would need. Mary was super, my uber driver took me to the wrong address, when I called her she came and picked me up.

We had such a wonderful stay at Kate’s place! The location was perfect — tucked away in a quiet spot downtown, but just a short walk to so many great restaurants, shops, and attractions. Having a parking space was a huge bonus since we had a rental car. The unit was super clean, easy to access, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Just a heads-up for future guests: the AC unit isn’t installed until May, so it was a little warm at night even with the fan and windows open, but it was totally manageable. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend Kate’s place — we’d happily stay here again!

From the moment I walked in I already couldn’t wait to come back. The view was beautiful, and the space was spacious yet cozy. Being October it was a bit cooler in Qualicum, but with the electric fireplace and baseboard heaters I didn’t feel it inside! The kitchen had so many little touches that felt thoughtful, from drinks in the fridge, spices in the cupboard, and all the utensils and pans to cook a meal in. Barry was proactive with messaging and very responsive when I had a question ahead of my stay. A perfect weekend getaway!

Kristine's place was exactly as described and is in a perfect downtown location. We had easy access to lots of restaurants and attractions and transportation was easy as well. The condo itself was clean and had everything we needed.

Spotlessly clean. Fantastic apartment for our family of 5. Amazing location right next to the sky train and Rogers Arena (highly recommend going to see an ice hockey game!). Supermarket just round the corner. Lovely views, the apartment has everything you need and we made good use of the swimming pool and hot tub which is really big. Overall we had a fantastic stay and the host was very responsive.

We loved out stay at Robby's place, which we booked for the Taylor Swift Eras Tour. Lots of other people had hosts let them down for this, but Robby was kind, responsive, reliable and just fantastic all through. The beds are comfy, the views are spectacular, and we really enjoyed everything about being so centrally located.

This was our second stay at an Airbnb in Nanoose Bay at the Pacific Shores resorts. Chelsea's place was top of the line. As described, clean and comfortable. Everything we needed and more. Comfortable for the 6 of us who stayed. We loved the location and lay out of the condo, and loved being able to utilize the resort amenities as well. We hope and plan to stay here again next year and for many more to come!
