Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Sassi di Matera

This was such a luxury. This cave house was just as described. It was the best shower, the best sleep, the best comfort I have had in my long tour of Italy. Daniella, the host, was so responsive and accomodating, making sure we had everything we needed. I'd recommend this space to anyone I know. If we are fortunate enough to visit this magical city again, this is the home I would choose.

This place is conveniently located and has got a beautiful rooftop which is perfect place to watch the sunrise. 3 bedrooms and 3 bathroom was big enough for 4 of us to stay very comfortably. recommend for group or family stay! host was always very responsive and let us leave the luggage earlier than check in time.

The perfect place to stay when visiting Matera! The view was breathtaking and the apartment felt like home. Will definitely come back!

Meine Zeit in Matera war grossartig und die Wohnung von Stefania der perfekte Ort, um die Stadt zu entdecken. mitten in der Altstadt Materas, etwas unterhalb des Doms ist die Wohnung zwar nahe an vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten aber trotzdem nicht an den Hauptachsen. die Wohnung ist super eingerichtet und architektonisch auf zwei ebenen sehr spannend. die Dachterrasse ist ein weiteres Highlight der Wohnung. Wenn es das Wetter zulässt kann man hier sehr gemütlich über den Dächern der Stadt die Zeit geniessen. Sollte ich wieder einmal nach Matera reisen, komme ich gerne wieder hierhin.

Ci siamo trovate, veramente molto bene a casa di Alessandro, la comunicazione con lui è sempre stata molto facile! la casa è davvero molto gradevole e comodissima per visitare i Sassi di Matera. È andato tutto benissimo, ma un complimento speciale al nostro host che ha saputo essere immediatamente d aiuto in una situazione indipendente dalla volontà sua e nostra ! Grazie Consiglio questa casa in ogni suo aspetto!

Absolutely fabulous location and lovely place to stay ! We were completely wowed by Matera in general and the location and views were incredible . Loved our stay and wished could stay longer …have made a promise to myself I will go back ! The apartment was truely beautiful and we appreciated the little touches of yoghurt cake and juice which we had on the balcony for breakfast before we left. Many Thanks !

Me encantó quedarme en este alojamiento. El lugar está decorado y tiene muebles increíbles (me encanta el ambiente que dan todas las lamparas), denota que se han cuidado los detalles. Patrizia me indicó perfectamente como llegar y aunque hay que bajar unas escaleras, pronto te das cuenta que son pocas para el estándar de Matera. La vista que tiene es inigualable y la facilidad con la que puedes llegar a los diferentes puntos de la ciudad histórica me facilito conocer a fondo Matera. Había muchas cosas para poder desayunar o tener un snack, algo que se aprecia mucho. El espacio de Patrizia aportó en gran medida a lo mucho que disfruté Matera

a magnificent historic property fully modernized. immediate parking. perfectly centered and walkable everywhere, pharmacy, dentist, city hall and of course the Patisseries and fabulous restaurants. Fabi is a gracious and responsive host. I'll be back for certain.

Appartamento confortevole, pulito a due passi dai sassi. Ottimo punto di appoggio per girare Matera, Carmelita è super disponibile e fornisce moltissime informazioni, risponde immediatamente a qualsiasi richiesta. in un prossimo soggiorno a Matera torneremo quì.

Appartement très bien situé a proximité du centre ville sans être dans le centre touristique. nous avons pu nous garer sans problème dans la rue. on était comme a la maison..avec deux salles de bain, le luxe!

We were very happy with the Airbnb. Everything looked very stylish and even more beautiful than in the pictures. It was also very clean. The location is great too – you’re in the old town (Sassi) in just a few minutes, and most places are within easy walking distance. Only some bus stops are a bit more far away. Thank you as well for the kind notes and tips we received – they were really helpful! And one important thing to know: at the end of the stay, there’s a city tax of €2 per person per night for the first three nights. This is a regulation in Matera to help preserve the city. It’s completely understandable, but good to be aware of in advance. Thanks for everything!

Siamo stati bene, la casa è grande e i tre bagni rendono facile la convivenza tra tante persone. L'appartamento non è lontano dal centro, 10 minuti di passeggiata. È un ottimo alloggio pulito e comodo.

Το διαμέρισμα ήταν πάρα πολύ καθαρό και ευρύχωρο! Η Μαριάννα ήταν πάντα πρόθυμη να μας βοηθήσει για κάθε μας απορία μας και απαντούσε πολύ γρήγορα σε ο,τι χρειαζομασταν!

We had a great stay in Matera. Mikele and Nicola’s place is easy walking distance to Sassi, and to great restaurants. We’ve stayed in many airbnb and this was, without a doubt, the best equipped when everything you could need, including a plentiful assortment of food, coffee, tea, fruits and drinks. Check in was so easy - Mikele found free parking for us nearby and helped carry our suitcases up to the unit. He was friendly , helpful and proactive with restaurant recommendations. He showed us how to make coffee and provided a helpful tour of the unit. We’d stay there again in a heartbeat.

Erg fijne plek om Matera en omgeving te ontdekken. Je loopt zo de oude binnenstad in, maar het appartement is toch rustig gelegen. Heerlijke bedden! Het ontbijt dat klaarstond was een fijne verrassing en uitgebreid (toast, beleg, zoete cake, Nespresso koffie en drankjes in de koelkast. Wat een service! Parkeren is lastig in het drukke Matera, dus de prive parkeerplek voor de deur is ook een erg fijne extra service bij dit appartement. Een echte aanrader!

He spent time orienting us with the area and provided a generous selection of local delicacies. An unobtrusive host with a meticulously appointed property. El apartamento de Pasquale es tal y como aparece en el anuncio. Es fantástico. Es ideal para visitar Matera sin los problemas de acceso al centro y hemos estado muy a gusto. Es importante remarcar la información que aparece en la descripción del apartamento: la cocina es para prepararte un desayuno, ya que no está equipada para cocinar, aunque eso no es problema gracias a la oferta gastronómica de Matera y alrededores ;-) Por otro lado, la climatización con suelo radiante es una maravilla. Silenciosa y efectiva. Recomendamos al 100% el apartamento y esperamos regresar en un futuro.

Buongiorno Ho soggiornato in questo appartamento di recente. Casa pulitissima, proprietari disponibili e gentili mi hanno fatto sentire a casa, persino nel villaggio e le persone all'ingresso nella guardiola disponibile e cordiali. La sera a bordo piscina organizzavano sempre qualcosa. Direi che se non fosse che mi si è rotta la macchina e quest'anno il servizio navetta non partiva dal villaggio, sarebbero state perfette. Super logement, très bien placé dans la ville et facile de stationner à proximité. La communistes a été très facile. Le logement est encore mieux en réalité qu'en photos !
