Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Puurs-Sint-Amands

Fantastic location walkable to everything, wonderful and unique house and beautiful modern renovation/decor. Well equipped, good water pressure and hot water, cellar laundry, good large dishwasher, comfortable beds, plenty of towels, good lighting, plenty of space. There are five stories and lots of winding stairs but this worked very well for our family of five and we had lots of extra space with no noise issues. Each bedroom has a full en suite bath, and the lounge on the fourth floor and the cafe-like kitchen and dining area on the first floor were comfortable and cozy. Communication was great and clear. While the departure checklist was a bit long compared to most Airbnb’s with stripping the beds, carrying trash and linens up and down and handwashing the dishes, everything else was super easy and well managed. Antwerp was amazing with the beautiful cathedral, small local and large well known shops, great dining, places to run bike. Would recommend and would love to stay again!

Het is heerlijk vertoeven in Villa Pippalou! Het uitzicht, de speelkamer, de hottub, de tuin,.. de troeven zijn legio. Wij komen zeker terug naar deze parel in Zeeland.

It was a great house to stay in with a group of friends. kitchen was great with electric stove. large living room area with large table, we could eat with 8 people. Quiet neighbourhood, great instructions beforehand.

Het was een echte aanrader, voorzien van alle comfort die je je kunt wensen. De bedden waren al opgemaakt bij aankomst, wat een fijn begin van het verblijf was. De traiteurdienst was een leuke extra, waardoor we de eerste avond konden genieten van heerlijk eten zonder ergens naartoe te hoeven. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!

The Matthieu home was perfect for our group of 6. We each had private space while still enjoying meals and relaxing together. The home is exquisitely designed and decorated - minimalistic at its finest. The blue stone on the outside of the home came from our family quarry which was fun to see. We brought our staff to Europe as one last hurrah before retiring at the end of the month. The trip was for them but we enjoyed watching Belgium through their wide eyes. This is the perfect home for a larger group!

We hadden een heel fijne tijd in dit prachtige huis! Het was nog fris weer wanneer wij er waren, maar het huis was heerlijk warm toen we toekwamen en wij genoten ook de volgende dagen van het zonnetje dat binnen scheen in de living ☀️. De communicatie met Sylvia verliep heel vlot. De keuken en badkamer zijn goed uitgerust met alles wat je maar kan wensen en er vertrekken meerdere mooie wandelingen in de omgeving. Wij komen zeker terug!

Une de mes meilleures expériences Airbnb , maison contemporaine incroyable réalisée par un architecte japonais sur le squelette d’une ancienne bâtisse dont l’escalier , les planchers , la cheminée et la rotonde ont été conservés , tout est sublime,l’ensemble est décoré dans le style wabi par Vincent le propriétaire ,un esthète adepte de cette philosophie , tout est minimaliste (en particulier la kitchenette très sommaire, ne venez pas ici pour faire de la cuisine mais ce n’est pas le but de l’endroit et les restaurants et commerces autour ne manquent pas puisqu’on est au pied du beffroi ! Superbe vue sur l’édifice de jour comme de nuit avec les éclairages ! De plus la maison bénéficie d’une magnifique terrasse ,dommage que la glycine n’était pas encore fleurie .. chanceux les prochains voyageurs ! Merci Vincent d’offrir cette merveilleuse expérience à vos hôtes , j’ai tout aimé ! C’est encore mieux en vrai que sur les photos, les volumes sont dingues ..

Very nice apartment with a lot of character and a spectacular roof terrace.

The place is nice clean convenient location, except stairs which can be a bit tricky if you have huge bags, overall pretty decent.

Following a warm and efficient welcome from Tille and her son, I stayed in a charming apartment, which provided the ideal spot to relax after wandering around the city. Watering the plants felt less like a task and more like a small contribution to the cosy, homely atmosphere already there. Thank you for this wonderful stay.

Wow, what a great place to stay. Pristine and spacious, looking exactly like the photos. We had all we needed, including plenty of kitchen pans and utensils for cooking. It was just a few tram stops from the station amd really easy to get to anywhere we needed. All in all, a superb base for an Antwerp holiday and we hope to return.

The place was great, really cozy, clean, and very comfortable. The location was super convenient, just a short walk to the metro, which made getting around the city really easy. The only downside was the unit's WiFi. Unfortunately, it wasn't working during our stay and we didn’t receive any solution from the host. We had to rely on the building's public WiFi instead, which wasn’t ideal. Other than that, everything else was really good and we enjoyed our stay overall :)

Sehr schöne und individuelle Unterkunft. Beste Lage direkt im Zentrum der Stadt. Unterkunft war sehr sauber und es fehlte an nichts. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war einfach und angenehm. Jederzeit sehr zu empfehlen

Mooi en rustig verblijf. Ideale uitvalsbasis voor een rustig weekendje. Dimi reageert snel, vriendelijk en communiceert pro actief maar niet overdreven, ideale communicatie!

Corinne und Peter sind fantastische Gastgeber wie man sie sich wünscht. Die Unterkunft ist wirklich herausragend. Alles ist in sehr guter Qualität vorhanden und sehr geräumig. Wir haben uns als Familie mit Kindern und Haustieren sehr wohl gefühlt. Wasser und/oder Kaffee muss man nicht bringen und kann kostenfrei genutzt werden. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen und diese Unterkunft weiterempfehlen. Auch für nur eine Familie habe ich den Preis gerne bezahlt, denn es hat sich wirklich gelohnt ;-) Danke für Alles

Philippe a été un hôte extrêmement accueillant et arrangeant : il nous a permis d’arriver et de partir à l’heure qui nous arrangeait. Il nous a donné de nombreux conseils pour que nous passions un magnifique séjour. Le logement était propre et bien équipé. Il y avait tout ce qu’il faut pour accueillir un grand groupe comme le nôtre. Certains équipements montrent des signes de vieillissement mais nous avons tout expliqué à Philippe et il va en prendre soin. Le jardin était grand, bien fleuri et entièrement clôturé ce qui était parfait pour nos chiens. Nous avons passé un très bon week-end chez Philippe et, à part le prix qui nous a semblé excessif, nous n’avons rien à reprocher à ce logement.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in Jaspers Unterkunft. Ein tolles, modernes Haus mit optimaler Ausstattung in einer ruhigen Gegend. Man merkt, wie viel Leidenschaft in dieser Villa steckt. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Vielen Dank an Jasper und seine Familie!

What an amazing gem this house is - highly recommend and completely undestand the perfect 5 star reviews. The house is beautiful, huge garden, absolutely peaceful and blissful - we didn't want to leave and are already planning another longer visit. It is clean, has all amenities you need (big fridge, coffee machine, etc), convenient kitchen with sitting places, and a huge dining room with a fireplace. at the same time it is less than 10 min walk from the train station taking you to Brussels, and 7 min drive from Wavre, which has nice stores and cafes. However, we didn't even feel the need to leave and spent most of the time in the garden. Absolutely recommend the experience.
