Rachael and Malakai's place is a true Vanuatu experience. They are the friendliest hosts you can find. Their house is set in a lush garden that they planted themselves. They welcomed me with open hearts and it was great to spend some time with real locals. Highly recommended if you want to see the real culture of Vanuatu. :)

Amazing Stay at Turtle Bay Beach House! We had an incredible time. The location is absolutely breathtaking, with stunning water views and a serene atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxation. The house itself clean, and comfortable, with all the amenities you need for a great stay. One of the highlights was the direct access to the lagoon—it felt like having a private slice of paradise. Whether it was SUP'ing, kayaking, or just lounging by the water - kids loved it! The nearby blue hole's make it an unforgettable experience for nature lovers. The hosts (Willy, Marie and Alex) were fantastic,very welcoming and responsive to any questions or needs we had. They even provided local tips, which helped us make the most of our time on the island. Book the horse riding in advance (Highly recommend Megan/crew), head to Mount Hope Waterfall on a tour floating down a cold river, go Scuba diving with Dave and Oscar (Allan Powers) and champagne beach/Port Orly.. perfection! Highly recommended!

Superb Airbnb experience. Gaëlle was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout—really the ideal host—and the whole complex has been so carefully and well thought out and designed. Bungalows are quite private with great front decks facing the water. The kitchen is well stocked for self-catering or for having food delivered. The isolated location requires a ride to go most anywhere beyond the two walkable blue holes, but that is probably a plus for most. I highly recommend a stay here.

We loved our stay at Matevulu lodge. It was even more beautiful than the photos. The communal kitchen gave you the opportunity to interact with other guests and the opportunity to get their feedback on things to do around the island. Gaelle is amazing, very helpful and always available to assist with anything you need. Would highly recommend.

This was undoubtedly the best place we stayed during our time in Vanuatu, and it truly became the highlight of our trip to Santo. Located right on a beautiful, calm beach with warm, crystal-clear water, the setting was stunning and perfect for relaxation. It served as an ideal base for exploring the nearby Riri and Matevulu Blue Holes, which were unforgettable. We felt at home, cooking meals with fresh, local produce from the market and Turkey Berry and Manioc leaves that we collected from the roadside. Gaelle was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. She even lent us snorkeling gear for a trip to Aore Island. The place was spotless, and peaceful. Our driver, Sleven, was always friendly and assisted with shopping trips to Luganville. Everyone we met was friendly and made us feel welcomed. For anyone visiting Santo, this place is highly recommended. We’re so grateful to Gaelle for her hospitality and for making our trip unforgettable.

This property is an must do at least once in your life - but likely more because you are sure to be hooked. Easily the most relaxing and idyllic holiday we have ever had. Gaelle was an amazing host and was a wealth of information and recomendations. The Millenium cave tour turned out to be the best adventure experience of my life! Starting the day with the simple but delicious breakfast was amazing and a beautiful way to start planning your adventure filled day. Or your lazy hammock day. Kayaking to the blue holes. Paddling the bay and across to the nearby islands. Preparing healthy meals in the homely kitchen and common area. The sound of the ocean lapping the shore is your constant companion and lulls you into a meditative state where time literally slows down. Step off your front deck into azure blue waters There is so much to do on Santo and this is a very central base - right near blue holes - easy drive to Champagne Beach and Port Olry.
