Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Pohjois-Lappi

Jari's place was in a great location, well stocked for our stay, and very comfortable!

Our stay at Tarja and Scott’s house was one of the best adventures of our lives. Even before the trip, they were very kind and helpful. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and had everything we needed. The house was cozy and warm, with plenty of firewood. There is also a beautiful kota near the house where we could cook on the fire and watch the northern lights. We were lucky to see the aurora five nights in a row. Scott also gave us great advice about hiking and kindly let us stay a bit longer on our last day. Before we left, we had a nice talk and learned more about his life. We will always remember this peaceful place by the lake and hope to return one day. :)

We had an amazing time at this property. The privacy is to the next level. We were pleasantly surprised by how immersed it was into nature. The frozen lake was the perfect view during the days and at night we had the clearest views of the northern lights! Would definitely recommend to everyone if they’re looking for a secluded getaway away from town.

Kaunis ja erittäin kodikas asunto. Pirkon kanssa viestintä onnistui todella hyvin ja Pirkko oli erittäin ystävällinen. Mukavat sängyt takasivat onnistuneen levon seuraavan päivän koitosta varten.

Ik heb een paar dagen verbleven in het huis van Sonja. Het was een goede keuze. Het is erg rustig gelegen maar toch met een auto dichtbij de supermarkten en andere winkels. Het huis is ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. De hout sauna is heerlijk en het afkoelen in de sneeuw daarna is iets wat je gedaan moet hebben. Wandelingen maken op de bevroren rivier was heerlijk om te doen. Al met al een huis op een mooie lokatie met goed uitzicht en een fijn bed! Zeker een aanrader. Zelf ook alle drie de nachten het noorderlicht mogen aanschouwen!

Wir hatten vier schöne Nächte in der Unterkunft. Wie waren sehr zufrieden mit der Ausstattung, es mehr vorhanden an Utensilien als wir ursprünglich gedacht haben. Die ruhig Lage im Nationalpark Pyhä ist ausgezeichnet in 5 min ist fast alles mit dem Auto erreichbar (Supermärkte, Verleih, Loipen, Skigebiet, Wanderouten, Restaurants, und andere Aktivitäten). Unser Highlight in der Wohnung war die Sauna und die Nähe zu der Natur. Noora war ein sehr tolle Gastgeberin, sie hat immer sehr schnell geantwortet, falls Fragen aufgetreten sind. Gerne wieder, sehr empfehlenswert.

Superbe maisonnette qui m'a rappelé la maison de ma grand mère à la campagne avec en prime le sauna. Très joliment aménagée, tout pratique. A côté de la ferme de rennes que l'on part nourrir si l'on le souhaite avec Hanna-Maria et qui nous en apprend énormément sur le travail authentique que représente l'élevage des rennes et leur place dans la culture. Nous ne sommes resté qu'un jour à la veille de notre départ en avion - check out tardif très pratique, mais il y a de quoi faire de jolies balades dans le coin si vous avez un peu plus de temps. Je recommande chaudement!

We stayed at Iras place for one week and we loved every second of it! We were surrounded by beautiful nature and could really calm down there! We totally can recommend staying there :)

Zalige omgeving. Veel genot van het huisje. De sauna is zeker een pluspunt. De eigenaars zijn zeer vriendelijk en helpen met alles. Ik raad dit huisje zeker aan voor mensen die gezellig een paar daagjes weg willen en gezellig van elkaar en de omgeving willen genieten. Alles is dichtbij en super rustig.

Pertin paikka oli loistava perheellemme. Palvelut kävelyetäisyydellä ja hiihtoladut myös. Ehdottomasti hintansa arvoinen.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der Unterkunft. Die Lage direkt neben dir Piste ist toll, auch zum Supermarkt sind es nur wenige Schritte. Die Kommunikation mit Minna lief immer schnell und zuverlässig ab. Wir können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen:)

Mukava ja siisti paikka rauhallisella alueella. Helppo tulla autolla. Hyvin varusteltu keittiö, tarpeeksi iso jääkaappi plussaa ja hyvä pakastin. Paljon peittoja ja tyynyjä. Iso kuivauskaappi. Tunnelmallinen takka.

Aivan ihana pieni mutta kodikas huoneisto, josta kuitenkin löytyi kaikki tarvittava. Takka oli sytytetty valmiiksi kun päästiin perille. Tullaan ehdottomasti uudelleenkin!

Dziękujemy Marianne za gościnę. Domek przytulny, idealny dla 4 osób. Wyposażenie domku bardzo dogodne, było w nim wszystko co trzeba na tygodniowy pobyt. Łóżka wygodne, w salonie miejsce do spędzania czasu po południu, internet działa bez zarzutu. Dobre położenie domku, na uboczu, cisza i zaledwie 20 min. spacerem do sklepu, restauracji, barów i innych atrakcji miasteczka. Nie mieliśmy samochodu, ale to w niczym nie przeszkadzało. Do tras biegówkowych dochodziliśmy w kilka minut. Marianne poradziła nam jak najlepiej dojechać z lotniska, uprzedzała jak pojawiała się zorza. Jak mieliśmy jakiekolwiek pytania przed albo w czasie pobytu zawsze odpowiadała w ciągu kilku minut. Dom Marianne był bardzo dobrym miejscem na tygodniowy pobyt. Bardzo rekomenduję! Dziękujemy i pozdrawiamy.

Fijn appartement voor een weekje in Saariselkä als uitvalsbasis voor allerlei tripjes in dit mooie gebied. Wij waren er met zijn tweeën, maar je kunt hier ook goed met zijn vieren verblijven. Ik zou hier opnieuw boeken!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit mit den Kids in Saariselkä. Die Wohnung ist super per Bus vom Flughafen zu erreichen. In Laufnähe gibt es alles, was man für den Aufenthalt benötigt. Würden sofort wiederkommen. Können es nur empfehlen.

We had the most magical time at the Kieppi cottage. It was the perfect mix of being able to completely ‘unplug’ and enjoy the intensely beautiful nature in Lapland while still having all modern amenities in this ultra-cozy space (and a nice grocery store nearby). Hannu and Anne-Marie are wonderful hosts and gladly helped us with anything we needed during our stay. The excursions with 70 North were 10/10!! Absolutely epic days, thanks again for the most amazing trip!

Eine perfekte Unterkunft in mitten wunderschöner Natur. Ein Ort zum entspannen und genießen.

nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette magnifique villa, très bien équipée et qui présentait une splendide vue sur le lac.

Als Familie mit 6 Personen und einem Kleinkind haben wir den Aufenthalt im großzügigen Ferienhaus genossen. Die küchenausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen. Der Holzkamin und die geschmackvolle Möblierung trug zur behaglichen Atmosphäre bei. Die tolle Aussicht auf den See und die Beobachtung der Polarlichter vom Balkon und auch durch die großen Fenster, haben uns gefallen. Ilkka war sehr freundlich und zuverlässig, wir empfehlen ihn gerne weiter.

We have had an absolutely wonderful time, the house was beautiful, warm, cosy and so well equipped in a fabulous location within walking distance to all shops and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will return. Saariselka is so beautiful too. Ari was excellent in communicating and responding and very flexible with our arrival and departure timings. Highly recommend

Unsere Familie (2 Erwachsene, 3 Kinder) haben unseren Aufenthalt im sehr grosszügigen und geräumigen Haus von Ville sehr genossen. Wir hatten noch nie eine besser ausgestattete Küche! Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, das Haus liegt im Wald, 3.5 km vom Ort Pyhä entfernt. Aufgrund der Fotos sind wir davon ausgegangen, dass das Haus alleine im Wald liegt. Allerdings hat es mehrere Häuser in nächster Nähe, aber die Nachbarschaft ist sehr ruhig und der Zufahrtsweg ist kaum befahren. Die Langlaufloipe ist rund 400m entfernt. In und um Pyhä gibt es viele tolle Winteraktivitäten. Ville war ein toller Gastgeber. Er war immer für unsere Fragen erreichbar und hat sehr schnell geantwortet. Ein Hinweis für zukünftige Mieter: in der Grundausstattung heisst es, dass Handtücher und Bettwäsche inkl. sind. Dies ist aber nicht der Fall und kann für EUR 30 pro Person gemietet werden. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt und würden das Haus jederzeit wieder mieten!

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad. Een woning van alle gemakken voorzien, we waren vooral ook onder de indruk van de droogkast, erg handig in winters Lapland. Als je een accommodatie in een prachtige en rustige omgeving wilt, dan ben je hier op het juiste adres. Tero was ontzettend snel met reageren. Ik zou dit huis zeker aanraden!

We had a good time at the place. The house is big, comfortable and warm. The double bed is very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped maybe some of the equipment need refreshment. If you need firewood more then provided bring your own or be ready to work hard with an axe. We were a couple but the house is more family/ group friendly. All in all a good experience.
