Monte Canela is a stunning property. As the pictures show, the property is nestled into the mountain with views that take your breath away. The property itself is small but very well appointed. The home is comfortable, stylish and very clean - we felt very much at home in the space. The one thing to note is that in order to have the views that come with this gorgeous property, the road to get there can feel treacherous for those not experienced in driving this type of terrain. The roads are in good shape, but the streets are narrow and there are many switchbacks. Aim for making the drive the first time while it's still light out. It is definitely worth the drive. Highly recommend!

This place is absolutely phenomenal! We had 2 nights booked but only stayed one due to health issues. Research the way you drive up because one way up is a horror movie for anyone who is scared of heights or like my mother in law with vertigo. I personally loved the winding roads and ups/downs/hairpin turns. The road is extremely narrow with lots of holes. The second way was 100% less dangerous. Still worth it! We had to cut our stay short unfortunately because of her vertigo & kids asthma. Still worth it! I will stay here again with just my husband in the future! Highly recommended for a place to chill and relax. Expect rain overnight or at least condensation on everything. This has by far been my favorite place to Airbnb around the world!

If you’re looking for a private, comfortable place that can handle a larger group and you want stunningly beautiful scenery, this is the place. The patio and balcony are incredible. Plenty of seating and an outdoor kitchen, looking out over the mountains and even all the way to the ocean. A view you have to see to believe.

A beautiful, clean, cozy place. The coffee maker is not practical, there should be more privacy. The doors are all glass from the inside. But it's very nice, clean.

Absolutely loved my stay! John was so helpful and met me at the entrance to the zip line park and lead me to the house in the dark - which was so wonderful for this solo female traveler !! You can tell how proud he is of the home as he showed me around. The kitchen area is great - I would just add a pan for the oven or maybe an air fryer . John was sweet to leave some food: drinks in the fridge in case I wasn’t able To make it to the grocery store before I came . The pool was a little cold but doable for cooling off. Can’t control that …. But very clean and the yard is well care for with lots of lovely flowers and trees. Be prepared for the drive. Roads are very windy and very steep in some areas - and NARROW! I would honk my horn during the daytime and driving at night was ok too because what you can’t see you don’t know (lol) but helpful to see car lights coming so you could slow down and move more to the side!

Exactly what we needed! I live in San Juan and sometimes I just need to get into nature, and Jaime's place was perfection. So quiet, so private (you're literally at the end of the road in a beautiful canyon), and so simple. My son and I went down to the river a few times, Jaime even got us some fishing supplies so we could attempt to catch and let go (no luck, but it's about the experience more than anything). The bed was comfortable, perfect amount of supplies for the outdoor kitchen, and we were visited by the cute ducks throughout the visit. I wish I could go back every weekend! Gracias, Jaime.

If you’re thinking of booking do not hesitate. My stay was the best. The place is beautiful. Orocovis is a cold area and the pool was the perfect warm temperature. All in all, very relaxing and peaceful. 🫶🏼

Beautiful place. The family really enjoyed it. 100% recommended. Puerto Rico is beautiful!
