The house and hosts were perfect. We liked the location very close to the tram close to the center and very quiet. I'd love to come back.

We had a wonderful time at Lorenzo's apartment. The apartment is clean, spacious, comfortable, fully equipped for 4 people. There is a large terrace so you can enjoy meals outdoors if weather permits. Good bakery and restaurant across the street, bowling alley and supermarket not far away. the only thing is that as the apartment is next to the road you will hear the cars and if there are guests above you will also hear a little noise, but for us it did not affect our wonderful holiday in Ghent and Bruges at all. The host is very friendly. Thanks Lorenzo for everything.

We had a wonderful stay at Charolette’s place! She was incredibly kind and accommodating—she let us check in and out whenever it worked best for us, which made everything so easy and relaxed. Her home is beautifully decorated, spotless, and had such a cozy, welcoming feel that we instantly felt at home. The location was perfect—close to everything we wanted to see in Ghent. This was our first visit to the city and we absolutely loved it. Thanks again, Charolette, for being such a great host!

The cottage is packed with amenities. The kitchen design is very complete, from coffee maker to wine extractor, everything was there. The beds are of good quality, everything was clean, in short recommended for those who want to stay in this area for a shorter or longer period of time. Sabine is a friendly and thoughtful host.

We had a very pleasent stay. The location is perfectly within walking distance of downtown yet quiet. You can enjoy the garden in the sun. Everything is super neat and clean and equipped with every comfort. Very friendly host with a very nice collection of pictures to turn!

Good place! Easy to centre if you have a car, there are 4 bedrooms so you can sleep with 8 people, everything clean and also a chill garden!

Lovely experience. Olivier is a very nice and friendly host, always ready to answer our questions and easy to deal with. The apartment is impeccable and matches exactly the pictures. Everything is nice and clean, the place is in a beautiful neighbourhood. I recommend!

Amazing House and Very Peaceful Setting

Great stay at Dieter’s place - lovely apartment in a great location, communication was fantastic throughout!

Super helpful host for all of our needy questions! Great location. Can walk to most of town, and we took a bus to opposite SE side of town. (But could be a far walk.) Need to bus to get to the train station. Bus system was good, worked well with Google Maps. Kids things: We had a toddler sleeping upstairs in our own pack n play (I think Kiefer offered a cot, too). The upstairs room did get dark enough for her to nap during daytime. It was far away from our bedroom, but our monitor signal still barely reached. There was a bright sensor/automatic light for the stairs that would light up her room when we left at bedtime, but maybe that could be turned off, or maybe not an issue for your kid.

We cannot recommend Yann’s apartment highly enough. It was elegant, spacious and with lovely decor - photos don’t do it justice. Also Yann provided a warm personal welcome, as well as chilled beer, water, Prosecco & coke in the fridge, plus sweet treats. The garden is so relaxing and very private. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom had shampoo & shower gel which was great for us as we were travelling light. There are loads of lovely bars & restaurants nearby, the location was 8 mins walk from train station at Dampoort, and it’s only 15 mins walk to the main shopping district. We fell in love with Ghent, it’s beautiful and we’d love to come back to explore further & stay in this lovely place again.

The location was ideal, within walking distance of the city center. The accommodation was very clean and tidy. All equipment worked and extra attention was paid to practical and pleasant touches such as a drink in the fridge, coffee and a cover with useful information about Lokeren and surroundings.
