Beautiful and warm house designed by a renowned architect. A real museum! Very comfortable and ultra clean. Very pleasant stay with Laxman and his wife who are very thoughtful and always available. Hearty and excellent breakfast!! A little luxury in Nepal in a beautiful place not to be missed!

A spacious veranda is furnished with bamboo seating that encourages relaxation. A wooden table with simple design occupies the center. The area is framed by bamboo structures and opens to lush greenery, providing a peaceful view of the surrounding nature.

Christian and his family are saints, we had a very perilous journey on scooter from Sauraha to Pharping and were kindly received by these incredible hosts, warm comfy beds in creative bamboo houses on top of an incredible valley filled with wildlife. The Pharping area is definitely worth a trip from KTM, Darkshinkali temple cannot be missed, and Tibetan Buddhism is massive here, more monastries than I can count. Amazing.

This was undeniably the most delightful accommodation experience of my life. Staying at Hostel Nextdoor allowed me to embrace different cultures, diverse experiences, and a warm level of service. I highly recommend this hostel as a place to stay for travelers in Kathmandu. Here, you can truly immerse yourself in the local way of life while enjoying comfortable accommodations. Unfortunately, I had to leave after just four days because I needed to meet friends elsewhere, but I am especially grateful for Emi’s assistance during my stay. If you ever get the chance, Emi and the team, you are more than welcome to visit my hometown, Wuhan!

Great place! The views are spectacular, the food is satisfactory and well priced, and all of the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Carol was a great help in assisting us with trekking plans etc. The drive up is a beast, but well worth it! I would definitely recommend this place and I hope I can return one day!

Staying with Kiran’s family - Rakesh and Anita was the perfect home during my placement at Dhulikhel hospital. They made me feel like part of their family. Anita would cook breakfast for me before my hospital shift and I had the option to join their family for delicious dinners each night. They went out of their way to make sure I was having a great time in Nepal taking me on hikes and even attending a wedding with them. Their home made my stay very memorable. I would definitely stay again!!
