I felt right at home with my family. Kayaking directly from the house was unique for the kids. The connection to Amsterdam and Utrecht is great. Very quiet environment in the middle of nature. Highly recommended for families. We had scooters and bikes for the kids, which was beneficial for the long way to get to the house.

Super nice stay in a quiet location. Especially bring your children, there are plenty of toys and the trampoline in the garden is a mega hit. The house is full of comforts, lovely underfloor heating, open garden, where you can hear and admire the woodpecker, blackbird and other birds. You can walk in the environment. Laura responds quickly and has fun tips for the area. Recommended!

We had a very nice vacation and felt comfortable right away, beautiful surroundings, highlight for our children (3 and 6 years) the toys and animals outside. Good communication and quick answers to questions. Everything was clean and nicely furnished. We'd love to come back :)

Great location for a couple nights stay with a family. Easy walking trails directly outside with lots of animals and waterfowl to see. Our kids loves it and we enjoyed a relaxing time.

We stayed in this charming tiny cottage for 2 nights and immediately felt comfortable there. The location is really idyllic, wonderfully in the countryside. The house itself is very cozy and has everything you need, we didn't miss anything. In the morning, we enjoyed the sun on the terrace and the cats collected their petting units. The contact with Jacqueline and her husband was very nice, we could always ask our questions and they had valuable tips for us. Thanks again and we'll definitely be back.

We had a lovely stay at Ingrid's place. The surroundings were beautiful. Great mountain bike trails and by train you are already in Utrecht in 10 minutes. 'In the evening, we could sit outside, in peace. Ingrid gave us nice tips and responded very quickly to our messages.

We had a wonderful stay here. The cottage is really super close to the center of Den Burg, but you don't realize this when you are here. We were received super hospitably and also good contact in between for fresh towels, for example. The cottage has all the comforts and is bigger than expected. All spaces are well used.

It is a magical place, the house is so lovingly furnished, it has everything you need and the surroundings are just beautiful to discover by bike, the train station nearby as well as the supermarket makes the thing complete. If you want to relax in a rural and quiet setting, Jonathan is the right place for you.

We had a wonderful weekend in Stemwede! The outdoor kitchen is just a dream and the garden is much bigger than it appears in the pictures! That surprised me very positively. In the morning you can hear the rooster crowing, which rounded off the country feeling at breakfast on the terrace of the tiny house. 🥰 The outdoor shower is totally cute and really fun in the sunshine! My companion accidentally broke a bowl while washing up, which she was supposed to replace with €25. It would have been nice to read something like this as a note in the description, then we would have brought our own dishes for safety. Otherwise, everything was totally beautiful! :) I will definitely be back! Gerd and Kathinka are both exceptionally lovely people. I immediately felt very comfortable and am already looking forward to next time! 🥰 Thank you, dear ones, for this wonderful short break from the big city! Best regards and I hope to see you soon!

Absolute best spot to spend a few nights away from the city! This was our 2nd time at Asita’s nature paradise and we were grateful to be there again. As always, she's a fantastic host and available when we needed. The wagon is warm, cosy and has everything you need for a tiny home. The woodstove is our favourite and it's worth it if you have the chance to warm up the outdoor bath too. Thanks again for having us and we hope to come again.

Ankie did everything to accommodate our needs and was so friendly. We loved the surroundings, how easy it was to get into nature, and being able to escape kings day madness :)

We booked for three nights and can't complain about anything. The place was clean and we had everything we needed available. Carla welcomed us in a super friendly way and gave us tips and support for excursions and parking. We can park comfortably on the property, so the car was always safe. We highly recommend the place and would come back anytime:-)

We had a very pleasant stay, quiet independent accommodation, well located close to Keukenoff and close to beautiful walks. I would gladly recommend it for a couple, note no TV so this may be a miss if you have children, although it encourages playing games... we will come back with our furry friend

What a great stay had. The cottage had everything you needed. We asked if we could be a little more flexible with the check-out time and this was not a problem which was very nice. We would go back in a heartbeat to enjoy this beautiful place!

I've been looking for a place to stay in the area for a long time, but never found anything suitable. I was completely surprised that it would be such a gem. The cottage is lovingly and stylishly furnished – as soon as you enter, you simply feel in good hands. No superfluous frills, but everything designed with a sense of aesthetics and atmosphere. I immediately fell in love and felt completely comfortable from the first moment. Thank you for this wonderful break – I'd love to come back!

We had such a gorgeous night out of the city in Joyce’s tiny house. The location is gorgeous with nature all around, perfect for long walks to explore the area. We got the train to Almere and then cycled from there which was a lovely half hour cycle along the river. The house itself is perfect, everything was clean and well thought-out, making the stay easy and comfortable with everything you could need! One of the highlights is of course the private sauna and hot tub which feels like such a treat!

 Joyce was a perfect host, she and her son live on the property and make sure to give you privacy, but are of course on hand for anything you need. 

 Would definitely recommend for an escape from the city.

Fantastic stay! We made use of the airport pickup and drop off that is offered, 20 euros each way and we found it gave us piece of mind not having to worry about taxis or public transport. Hired bike's from Bruna and followed the picturesque trail to keukenhof for the tulips and flower festival (Bruna's place is a great base for many bike rides). The tiny house is amazing, very clean, well designed and private. Bruna has thought of everything including some staples such as bread, cheese etc, which came in very useful when we returned from Keukenhof too tired to go out for dinner. Bruna, Richard and family were very friendly and pleasant giving us plenty of advice when we asked for it. The surrounding area is beautiful with a bar just down the road called Geoff's offering decent cocktails with a view over the water at prices much cheaper than Amsterdam We loved our stay, would thoroughly recommend to anyone and we'll hopefully be back in the winter to skate on the frozen lake!

A large, old dune surrounded by water with a beautiful deciduous forest on it, that was our "garden". All for ourselves. Well for ourselves, we had to share it with two donkeys, two very sweet donkeys. And a lot of birds, who sang for us all day:) The cottage itself is located in an open space in the forest and is a romantic nest, but with all the comforts. We kept discovering new things. New conveniences, new touches. The wood-burning stove was wonderful and so was the fire pit. We felt very privileged that Alexandra wanted to share this magical place with us. Or sharing, actually it was entrusted, it felt like us for the days we stayed there. But Alexandra was always available. So much kindness, so much hospitality. Thank you so much for that, Alexandra!!! In the immediate vicinity, there is an abundance of both nature and culture to discover and experience. We did not need to use the car. And of course the sea, the sea ...
