The stay was really sparkling clean and Lycien was really friendly. Beautiful views and really relaxed due to the silence of the area. In addition, a perfect location, everything is close by, supermarkets, etc. Also plenty of culture to see. We will definitely come back, what a nice place to stay and everything was perfectly arranged.

We were visiting a relative in the area. The venue suited our needs very nicely. Home from home (once we got used to the stairs). A version of the Guidance Book in English would be very useful. If we venture into Drenthe again, we will certainly look to see if Irene’s home is available.

Six of us had a great stay. The communication is great, the house is cozy and modernly furnished with a beautiful view of the lake. It was pleasantly quiet in the neighborhood of the seals. The location is also good, you can get to both Nordhorn and as well as Lingen. We'll be back!

A charming spot to enjoy nature and truly disconnect. The owner was exceptionally kind and welcoming. We were two couples, and while the place felt a bit smaller than it appeared in the photos, it was still perfectly comfortable for a short stay. Highly recommended!

The cottage is as shown in the photos and equipped with every comfort! Everything has been thought of. At the table you can sit with a view of the water where many birds can be seen. When we arrived there was snow and ice which was beautiful to see. In the second half of the week it was so hot that we could sit outside. We have enjoyed the place and the silence. Beautiful house, wonderful and very quiet neighborhood by the water itself. Thank you for letting us live here Holida and Chris are great hosts, they were very helpful and quick to answer the question. The house was clean and everything you needed. It felt like home. A safe neighborhood, a place for a car under the roof. Great ! Thanks, and we hope to be back soon!

We visited the place Giethoorn and then stayed with Geesje for one night. It was all exactly as described, the small cozy cottage is right on the farm, the shared toilets and showers are only a few meters away. There's even a common room. Geesje greeted us personally and made us breakfast the next morning. The place is quiet and idyllic, the grill restaurant (2 minutes away) is highly recommended. Thank you, dear Geesje, for sharing your home with us.

We spent a wonderful week at Aagje in Een-West. Beautiful spacious house with a lovely garden. Good beds. We met wonderfully sunny weather. Since it is still early in the year, it was also wonderful to sit in the igloo greenhouse at the end of the afternoon;where it was warmed up by the sun. Aagje is a very sweet hostess;cheerful,interested and always willing to give information about the beautiful surroundings. Een-West offers you the opportunity to look around Drenthe,Groningen and Friesland... Really enjoy! Regards, Jan & Saskia van der Vooren.
