Guesthouse vacation rentals in Eastern Scheldt

Great little find. Visiting as a small group, we didn't want to stay in the busy city of Middlberg as we were cycling and sightseeing around the Walcheren. This place was ideal as it was placed in the picturesque peaceful countryside but had the benefit of the village of Koudekerke and its supermarket only a 1.5 walk away. Good routes for both bikes and cars meant exploring the island and surrounding area was easy. Bianca was a lovely helpful host and we had good communications before and during our stay. The Airbnb was exactly as described/shown in the photos and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was well furnished with utensils and had most of the things you'd need to self-cater. It is an ideal spot for a small family looking to explore or visit the islands beaches but also wanting some peace and quiet. Will look to come again with the family.

We felt very comfortable at Esther's studio. Everything was super and straightforward. I highly recommend this place for Domburg.

Very nice tiny house, with a soothing view. The tiny house is very neat, and equipped with all the comforts. I was received very friendly!

We stayed for 2 nights, the environment is very good, very quiet, and the garden is very beautiful, the location is very good, it only takes 7 minutes to walk to the beach, the walking trip is very beautiful,

we've been to Harry's place many times. Everything was good and clean unchanged. Harry is a very nice and friendly host. If you don't need a lot of luxury, you are very well taken care of here in the quiet and beautiful surroundings. We'll be back.

We had a very pleasant stay here! Easy location close to highway. Beautiful home with a lot of bathrooms, which makes it very convenient for a family weekend! There is a garden with terrace and plenty of seating outside which makes it very nice to eat outside. With the small children we had with us, we did miss a bit of a toilet on the ground floor. Now we had to go to the toilet quietly in the evening because they slept. And the little ones had to go up the stairs. But that's just a small downside for which we would certainly not leave this stay behind!

The easiest five star review, I wish I could make it six stars! Lambertus & Lukkie were amazing hosts for my dog and I. Even before check in they reached out to provide information and recommendations. At check in, Lambertus took the time to show me around the property, provided recommendations of where to eat, and even showed me on a map of the island things to do. During the stay, they checked in as needed; however, it was never too much and I felt very independent. I already have my next stay booked!

It was a lovely cozy place to stay. Winny was always available for questions. Well located to explore Zeeland. We will be happy to come back :)

Marja‘s and Jaap‘s place is a carefully crafted gem. We have highly enjoyed the serenity of their beautiful garden and appreciated the wholeheartedly prepared breakfast the two brought to our door in the morning after having asked for our preferred time. As we have stayed at their place during King‘s Day, they have even shared their traditional cake with us! We can highly recommend staying at their place and would definitely come back again.

We found the peace we were looking for😊. Karin's barn is simply fantastically beautiful with the four-poster bed, the beautiful tiles and lovingly decorated. The seats in the garden are so beautifully cozy with sheepskins, the view is just wonderful, the animals are so funny to watch. Karin is very attentive and friendly, came by every now and then to see if we needed anything. We even got vegetables from her garden. We really enjoyed the stay and would love to come back at any time.

We had a great time at Kristel's place! The accommodation was perfect and clean, the private exterior is wonderful and perfectly matched our desire for calm and disconnection. In addition, the center of Rotterdam is easily accessible. The instructions to get to the accommodation were clear and above all, the check-in was very warm! Thank you for everything!

The place was really nice and it was all perfect for a weekend trip! The location was great and the city center can be reached in 10 minutes by bike from the accommodation. All in all very cozy and familiar :)

Very friendly welcome by the host who guided us through the apartment and took time to explain everything in detail. The apartment is nicely designed and has a hybrid ambiance of old building and modern interior. The location of the apartment is good, by car you can reach Ghent and Bruges in less than an hour. A nature park is nearby and the sea can be reached in about 20 minutes. All in all it was a successful, beautiful holiday. If we come to the region again, we'll be happy to come back here.

We had a couple of wonderfully peaceful days at Jans’ lovely house. Communication with Jan was a breeze, we really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Upon arrival we were treated to a warm fireplace and a bottle of delicious wine. The place itself is in an absolutely unique location. The house is fully equipped for an amazing stay. Jan went above and beyond by surprising us with croissants on our doorstep 🥐 which was extra lovely! I strongly recommend this place, best value for money and wonderful hospitality.

From the moment we booked our host Irma was helpful and answered all queries. The house was as described and exactly what we hoped for. We had easy instructions to follow and she was there to meet us with little gifts of local bread and bits. She helped us with places to go and even took us on a lovely walk around the town and along the canal to see a beautiful sunset. The house whilst in a beautiful, peaceful location was close for us to visit all the towns we planned to including Gouda, Delft, Kijkduin and seeing the tulips. We had a lovely holiday which was made even better by having such a wonderful host.

Very nice accommodation, on one level, opens to a lovely garden. Plenty of space, a very functional kitchen and a large living space tastefully decorated. Exceptionally kind hosts, who offered a gift to our baby :-)! Free parking in front of the house, train station in close proximity to get to Rotterdam in 10 minutes. Absolutely quiet neighborhood. Property to select without a second thought.
