Beachfront vacation rentals in De Fryske Marren

We had a wonderful stay at the Schakel villa. It had everything we needed and although we were unfortunately pretty cold most of the time, it just felt good to be in this wonderful vacation home and to be able to look directly at the water from the living room. The kitchen is wonderfully equipped and small beach walks made the stay perfect. We would have liked to try the sauna and the boats, but unfortunately we were too sick for that. Everything was in top condition and very well described. The communication went smoothly and the house is very lovingly decorated. Thanks so much!

We felt totally comfortable at the place. It was quietly located and yet only a few minutes walk from supermarket, restaurant and cafes. We were able to park in front of the house, behind the house you look at the roof and behind it is the sea. There was a small garden where we could sit, there was enough seating possible and a barbecue. The accommodation is already a bit spoiled, but has its charm, it was not super clean, but was immediately offered to fix that. Communication was great, they responded quickly. For 3 people with a dog it was perfect. Stavoren is very nice and we were able to relax and get to know a few very great restaurants. We will be happy to come back if it suits!

The place was nicely located and well equipped. The sauna ran every day, it was worth it. Shopping was also close. We might come back.

We had a really good week in glamptent. Family and friends were at the campsite and that's how we were able to celebrate a nice holiday together. Communication with Gerda went smoothly and friendly.

Communication with Willem was very friendly and helpful from the beginning:) He was also easily accessible at all times during our stay. If you like it more quiet and private, this is the place to be! The place had everything you need for a relaxing stay. Our dog Teddy especially liked the associated garden ☺️ Cute cities like Sneek or Lemmer can be reached in 20-30 minutes by car. The dog beach in Makkum, e.g. in 40 minutes. We would book this place again any time:)

We had a wonderful week as a family with teen and dog in nice weather in Makkum. With the tasteful furnishings, the beautiful colors of the house and the nice garden with terrace, we all felt very comfortable right away. The campsite also met us with its good infrastructure and beautiful location. With the house you were in the middle of it and yet private. Fleur was always easily accessible and very nice in communication! The restaurant tips were great too! Thanks for the nice time, we will be happy to come back!

We felt very comfortable right away. The host was always available and accommodating. Quiet location, cozy beds. Bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. All as described.

Ruud is a very nice host. It is a pleasant cottage, and everything you need to know is clearly described. In case of an issue, Ruud will take care of that immediately. The cottage is generously stocked with kitchen inventory (cutting boards, knives, plates, cutlery) so that even if you were six of you, you can go very well ahead. There are jeux de boule balls and there are some books, CDs... There is also heating for if like us you are unlucky or at a cold or a very wet moment at the park. We greatly enjoyed the very nice and quiet swimming pool and the hares here on the field.

Everything is great. Maybe you should deduct the entrance to the swimming pool from the arrival and departure day, since you won't go to the swimming pool anymore anyway.

We loved our stay at Thomas's place. The caravan is spacious and equipped with every comfort. The terrace was also very complete in terms of furniture with both sun and shade. However, we were bothered by mosquitoes so we definitely recommend bringing a mosquito spray.

Had a great vacation! The house leaves nothing to be desired. The view of the sea is a dream. In the house, everything is clean and tidy. In the immediate vicinity, you will find a lot of things to do and shopping is also available. We will be happy to come back !

We arrived as a family (2 adults, 2 children) and had a wonderful holiday. The accommodation was well maintained, with the bike provided we could get breakfast every morning and the view of the water and the sun rising there in the morning was simply indescribable. We would always choose this place again.

Very nice chalet in a quiet location on the campsite. Cozily furnished and there is everything you need. Only the children's bedroom is very compact.

We had a lovely week with our 3rd children during the autumn holidays. In bad weather, a beautiful indoor playground awaits the children. In nice weather there are several playgrounds and a petting zoo :). In great weather, the lake and beach are waiting for you. ;) Aletta was always available for us and gave us good tips.

Such a little oasis for a getaway. Very close (5 min) the IJsselmeer. About 20 minutes to Lemmer with great little delicious restaurants,ice cream parlors and bars... Our dog QuBi also felt very comfortable. SO A GREAT PLACE FOR US TO RECHARGE OUR BATTERIES... Only the fact that there were only three TV channels in German disturbed my husband. We felt completely comfortable in Stavoren. The accommodation was beautifully located, overlooking Lake Ijssel and plenty of space to play and run for our daughter. The place was well equipped, the only drawback perhaps that there was only one toilet available for 2 families. But no problem for us! The area around the accommodation was also beautiful, with some beaches, shopping and beautiful towns that could be reached within an hour. Absolute recommendation!

We were very positively surprised by the accommodation and felt very comfortable. The garden was very nice and perfect for our little dog and the kids. Froukje is a very nice hostess who welcomed us warmly and gave us some tips for the area. Check-in was also uncomplicated and there were even snacks ready. The apartment was very clean and there was everything you needed in it. The distance to the dog beach is super close and the right beach is adjacent. The city is a little further on foot, but also easily accessible and really nice . We would recommend this place and would book it again.

We were there for the third time and felt super comfortable again. Starting with the communication, the location directly on the water and the great amenities of apartment, we enjoyed it very much. Like every time, it was very clean and tidy again. We will definitely be back and look forward to it!

We had a very nice week in Lemmer as a family with a dog. The house is lovingly decorated and nothing was missing. Our dog was welcome and the garden is completely fenced as described.

We had a very nice stay in Makkum. The house is in a great location and is right on the beach. It is very beautiful and well maintained. You can also quickly reach the beach promenade. We can highly recommend a stay.
