The stay is worth the price. However, it is worth having your own basic equipment of kitchen ingredients with you, if you want to cook as wonderfully with the wonderful view from the kitchen to the sea;-). (You will have to buy everything - salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, spices, etc.) But the jumbo in the village is a great shop (7 min. in the car) and the essentials would also be available in the campsite shop. 4 minutes by car/10-15 min. by foot) However, the towels for the bathroom are offered and included. You don't need to bring anything. Look forward to unforgettable days at sea!

Brilliant home in a peaceful location! Great transport links for cars, and equally nearest train station is a 30 minute walk away along a cycle lane. Lovely little pancake place just 50m away too, which was a real delight. Miranda was really responsive, and made us feel really welcome. Would not hesitate to recommend, and would certainly return!

We stayed with 3 couples in the house and felt very comfortable! The kitchen is well equipped, you have enough space and the house is very cozy! Roland was super helpful and friendly. The house is located directly on the nature reserve, with great hiking trails. We would definitely come back.

A beautiful house with all the advantages for a wonderful vacation. It has a great ambiance with plenty of space. The wardrobe is large and bright. The living and dining area is very nicely designed, the kitchen has all the features (dishwasher at standing height, great coffee maker, super stove, Quooker, dishes and glasses - very nice). The guest toilet on the first floor has a great design. The top two floors have very stylish high-quality furnishings with beautiful lighting. The bathroom is fully equipped, also very high quality. The garden is also very nicely designed with several seats with a very pleasant atmosphere, also covered. Everything was perfectly clean and beautiful, as shown in the pictures. The location is ideal for short distances to Alkmaar, Amsterdam and the sea. The lake in Akersloot is around the corner. We can fully recommend the house and will be happy to come back. Gabriela welcomed us in a super friendly way and was always available. Her house is extremely tastefully decorated. Direct access to the canal, from the pretty garden, is perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!! Happily again!

Perfect stay in this lovely house close to the beach. Tenant is always available and answers quickly to your requests. House was clean and well equiped (except cleaning products). Would recommend 100%

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect and the hospitality of Bas really made our day!

We went on vacation with three families and stayed in an incredibly large yet very clean house. Each room had a view, and we brought five kids around 10 years old and one baby. The kids loved the house so much they didn't even want to go out and explore. The host lived right next door and was always available to quickly resolve any issues that came up. The location was perfect: a 40-minute drive to Amsterdam, 20 minutes to the windmill, 10 minutes to Alkmaar, and 15 minutes to the beach. Everything was just right. This is our dream vacation home, where we could see the purple sky from our rooms and enjoy the sight of cows and sheep grazing in the green pastures, all while experiencing a slower pace of life. Perfect!

Beautiful big house with lots of space and a very large garden! We had two small children (<4 years) with us, who had a great time. Center of Schoorl is within walking distance and the beautiful dune walks too. The beach is a lot further, we recommend to rent a bike or grab the car. The house is located on the passage street of Schoorl, making it easy to get there and drive away again easily. However, it is a busy street in terms of car traffic. Inside, everything you need was present, from toys to kitchen equipment.

A super stay with a lot of space. For 5 people really perfect. We can recommend it to everyone. If we should mention a point of attention, that would only be the description of the last 100 meters to the cottage and the space to park the car in the driveway next to the house. However, that is secondary when you enter the house and enjoy it further.

The stay in dut's house was really fantastic. Beautifully maintained spacious house next to a beautiful mill and beautiful scenery. We really enjoyed all the facilities of the house. The owner Rona is very friendly and easily accessible. When we asked her in the evening for an additional fitted sheet, she came to bring it immediately.

We have just spent 10 days in Jaxquline's beautiful house in Bakkum. The house fully compliant with photos. Beautifully equipped, we didn't miss anything, inside and out. Our 4 children and teenagers have all found their account. (soccer goal, trampoline, bikes available, one TV in each room, as well as sono speakers.) Each room has its charm, the bedrooms are very nice and the kitchen huge! Surrounded by greenery, the house is bathed in nature, the forest and the dunes with the sea 15 minutes by bike. We were greeted by Jacqueline's in-laws who live right next door. Very nice and always willing to recommend tours to do or a glacier to absolutely try to do. We strongly recommend the house. The place was wonderful and left nothing to be desired. Very nice house, located directly by the forest with private access to the forest. Great sauna and lounge area outside with heaters, so also pleasant to sit outside this time of year. Very spacious garden. The beach can be reached in 5 minutes by car, 10 minutes by bike and you can also jog or walk there. Highly recommended for a nice getaway with family/ friends.

The five of us stayed in this house at the holiday park and had a nice time. The place was clean and spacious enough for us. A big plus was that we could make six separate beds, which was ideal for our group. The amenities were sufficient and the area is nice and quiet, perfect for relaxing. Privacy was also great. The only small downside is that some things were a bit outdated like the TV, but that certainly didn't make our stay any less fun. All in all a nice place for a relaxing holiday. Thank you for hospitality!

We had a very nice stay. Ramon and his family welcomed us warmly. We even got a gift for our little man (10 weeks old). Communication went smoothly and on departure we got another Frisian delicacy. The garden is really a plus that we have made wonderful use of. The boys play soccer and we enjoy a drink. I recommend everyone to book this if you are looking for space and tranquility.

it is very good place

We stay in a lot of Airbnb for work reasons and this is a really nice place. There are only two things that let it down. First one is the size of the TV. It's quite small and at the end of a working day, i'd prefer a much bigger TV but that's just my preference. The other thing is in the house rules section of the advertisement which i didn't read but it caused a big problem. We'd been travelling all day and when we arrived, we needed to freshen up and get some sleep. There are no towels or bed linen provided so we left and went to a hotel and didn't come back. I did message about towels and bed linen but got no response or help. I would recommend staying here as we've stayed at similar places within the area but bring bed linen, towels, toilet rolls etc with you.

All as advertised , great hosts we will use again when in the area . Would recommend for buisiness or Leisure.
