We truly enjoyed our time relaxing at this scenic and historic place. Right along the river, attached to walking trails in a little park. Plenty of space and all the comforts of home. We spent a cool December evening here cozying up next to the fire and reading about the history of the region. The bridge/entrance dates back to roughly 1660-1740, incredible!

Acabamos de deixar a casa e já temos saudades. Passamos uns dias muito felizes, com muito bom tempo, o que deu para aproveitar a piscina ao máximo. A casa é bonita, decorada com simplicidade e bom gosto e tem tudo que precisamos para umas férias fantásticas Todas as pequeninas questões que tivemos foram imediatamente resolvidas, não há nenhum motivo de queixa. As nossas cadelas também desfrutaram muito, delirando com a quantidade de gatos que se viam à volta noutros terrenos. Nascer do sol lindo, espaço para sentar, ler um livro e ver o rio Douro, onde vimos passar barcos incríveis. Super recomendo este espaço e anotamos para voltar ainda mais dias numa próxima oportunidade. Obrigada! É um pequeno paraíso ❤️

A Quinta da Lameira, foi uma das melhores quintas que encontramos nestes últimos 10 anos. Éramos um grupo de 6 adultos e 4 crianças e a quinta mostrou que tinha todas as potencialidades para uns dias bem passados. A casa é muito funcional, bem equipada e iluminada. A sala e cozinha, em open space, permitiu que todo o grupo estivesse em constante convívio e as crianças tinham espaço para brincar. A cozinha estava equipada com tudo o que precisamos. As 3 suites eram confortáveis e o quarto com beliches foi perfeito para as 4 crianças. Foi a primeira casa em que estivemos que tudo funcionou sem percalços, desde a água quente, aquecimento, o quadro elétrico. A parte exterior é muito agradável, mesmo sendo em dezembro, só não conseguirmos aproveitar a piscina. Mas mesmo assim o S. Pedro ajudou e, principalmente as crianças, conseguiram brincar no escorrega e na casinha de brinquedos. E conseguimos fazer churrasco. Acredito que uma estadia no verão nesta quinta seja incrível.

We stayed at Casa Da Torre for 7 days and loved it. The place is spacious, private, and peaceful, with great views over the Douro River. It is a great base for exploring the Duoro River valley. Marta was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

I've never met a host so responsive. Liliana is a joy, and so is her family. I would recommend her beautiful home to anyone. She cares about guest comfort and it shows. 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

C'est une maison très agréable, située dans un environnement paisible. L'accueil par Gloria était très cordial et les propriétaires Ana et Victor ont été disponibles pour nous indiquer la marche à suivre lors de notre arrivée en soirée. Nous y étions venus il y a 5 ans et nous reviendrons si possible.

Miguel hat uns sehr warm empfangen und uns die gesamte Unterkunft noch einmal gezeigt und meinte, wir können ihn jederzeit fragen, wenn wir was brauchen. Wir haben uns von Anfang an wir zu Hause gefühlt. Das Anwesen ist wunderschön. Neben dem traumhaften Pool gibt es Orangen und Zitronen, welche wir während unseres Aufenthaltes frei zur Verfügung hätten. Miguel war immer sofort zur Stelle, wenn wir etwas gebraucht haben. Er war sehr bemüht, unseren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Es hat uns dort sehr gefallen. Die alte Hütte hat einen rustikalen Charme ☺️ Danke für alles, Miguel!

La casa de António y su familia es simplemente increíble. Las vistas a las montañas y al río parece un paisaje sacado de un cuadro. La casa tiene todo lo que necesitas para desconectar y disfrutar de unas vacaciones de relax. La piscina estaba también en perfectas condiciones. António es muy buen comunicador y nos ofreció su ayuda en todo momento. Ojalá podamos repetir de nuevo esta experiencia!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Lucia. Le lieu est paisible, vraiment très agréable et très bien entretenu. La maison est mignonne, très propre et bien équipée. Elle est dans la verdure (la terrasse est entourée d’agapanthes) et à deux pas d’une piscine (il y en a deux). La communication avec Lucia a été très facile. Elle et ses collègues ont été très réactives quand nous avons eu besoin d’elles. Nous recommandons fortement cette adresse!

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans la maison de Manuel. Nous sommes restés 8 jours avec ma famille. Mes enfants étant très jeunes (1 an et 2 ans), nous avons profité longuement de la maison! Elle est adaptée aux enfants. Attention tout de même à la piscine autour de laquelle il n’y a pas protection pour les petits. Il faut donc ouvrir l’œil. Mais à part cela tout est très bien. La vue depuis la maison est superbe. Manuel est très réactif et flexible. Une femme de ménage passe presque quotidiennement pour nous aider à l’entretien de la maison. Lovely peaceful stay. Was met by Lisete's lovely Dad on check in and he was very friendly. Brought us bottles of his own wine to enjoy and some port. Lisete was always very responsive to all our questions. The views are amazing and it's the outdoor space along with the fantastic pool that make this house. Kids really enjoyed it. Lovely to sit out at night and admire the views and enjoy the peace and quiet. The inside of the house is exactly as described and met all our needs. We spent very little time indoors as weather was fantastic. A car is definitely needed as the house is remote. Lots of areas to explore. Amarante is particularly nice. Overall a fantastic stay in a lovely home. Highly recommend if you want to switch off and just relax. Thanks to you both for a wonderful stay.

Alojamiento para disfrutarlo a tope, cada rincón muy cuidado y con muchos detalles agradables. Situado a las afueras de Amarante, en una zona muy tranquila. Zona de barbacoa y piscina inmejorables, ideal para pasar unos días en familia. La casa no es muy grande, pero está bien aprovechada y no le falta de nada. Por otro lado, la atención de Paulo es digna de elogio, preocupándose en cada momento de nuestro bienestar, y contando con la ayuda de unos maravillosos vecinos que nos hicieron la estancia muy amena y agradable. Sin duda la calidad/precio es más que recomendable, repetiriamos con los ojos cerrados ahora que conocemos a Paulo y su entorno. Y otra cosa, vaya descubrimiento el Vino Verde de la zona, ¡qué rico! 🤤😃 Muchas gracias por todo, volveremos.

Nous avons passé de très belle vacance en famille. La maison est très spacieuse avec une belle terrasse sur le Douro. La communication avec le service était nickel une fois que nous avions été mis sur le groupe de discussion. Just un petit malus d'avoir intégré les groupe de discussion seulement 2h avant. Dans l'ensemble très content et je conseillerai ce logement avec plaisir. Un peu dangereux pour les enfants (escalier, terrasse pentue,...)

Tolles Haus. Die Aussicht zum Fluß Douro war hervorragend. Morgens hört mann nur den Hahn krähen.

This is a beautiful home! We spent a wonderful week with extended family ranging in age from 90 years to 2 years old. The home was perfect for everyone. It is a large historical property that is traditionally but comfortably furnished and was immaculately clean. There is lots of space and many interesting places to explore - it really fired the imaginations of our 6 and 8 year old boys. The pool was very clean and bigger than we imagined. There were Sun loungers, shade umbrellas and toys for the kids which was a real bonus. The host family were welcoming, kind and very hospitable. They responded very quickly to any questions. The property is less than 10 minutes drive to a railway station with good service to Porto or beautiful inland train ride along the Douro River. We had a super week and unreservedly recommend this property.

We spent 10 days at Quinta De Nadais in early August. The climate is perfect - hot during the day, cooler at night. Surrounded by an abundance of fruit trees and vegetables which you are free to eat, this quiet working farm offers a rustic retreat up in the hills above the river Douro. The large house is comfortable and spotless, with great facilities. The pool is surrounded by a lush lawn on the hillside with magnificent views over the valley. Adjacent to the property, and sharing the driveway, is another small property whose single inhabitant is pleasant and quiet. We were given a massive amount of fruit and veg from the farm which was delicious. Local supermarkets offer a good selection of fresh fish, meat and vegetables. We cooked at the property most nights and ate outside overlooking the pool and valley - hard to beat the view at any restaurant. Our host was wonderful, attentive and helpful, and a pleasure to deal with. A fantastic holiday. Thanks!

Nous avons passé quelques jours à la Casa dos Becos. Le lieu est extra, au milieu des oliviers avec une belle vue sur la vallée. Nous avons en particulier apprécié la terrasse, la piscine (après les journées de visite) la quiétude du site, et le confort des lits. L’accueil était parfait et l’hôtesse aux petits soins pour nous. Je recommande !
