Island vacation rentals in Adriatic Sea

The house was fabulous and Mila and her son David were amazing hosts. They introduced us to local people to rent boats, suggested restaurants and excursions for a perfect holiday. We had 2 adults and 4 kids (8, 11, 12, 14) in our family group. We wanted somewhere off grid to relax but with good facilities. The house was perfect and the bay at the bottom of the hill fantastic for a quick swim each morning. The island itself was good for little walks and longer hikes. We rented a boat for the stay which was a good choice, allowing us to fully explore the islands and access all the hidden coves and busier bays. There is no air conditioning; but the regular gentle wind on the island provides a welcome breeze unlike most of the area. Overall, we were treated to an amazing holiday!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist außerhalb der sehr touristischen Ecken und mehr bei den Einheimischen. Man kann alles zu Fuß erreichen und auch die Flughafen Fähre ist in nur wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist wie bei Airbnb beschrieben. Man hat genug Platz und alles ist sehr gemütlich und stilvoll eingerichtet! Das Haus an sich ist sehr hellhörig und man hört die Nachbarn. Daher am besten Ohropqx einpacken! Wir können diese Unterkunft für Venedig sehr empfehlen!

Unser Aufenthalt bei Ante auf der Insel KRK in Muraj war einfach fantastisch! Schon bei unserer Ankunft hat uns die helle und freundliche Unterkunft begeistert. Besonders die tolle Terrasse mit Sonnenschutz war ein Highlight, auf der wir die meiste Zeit das angenehme Klima genossen haben. Der Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus war ebenfalls sehr praktisch. Die Unterkunft war bestens ausgestattet – die Klimaanlage und das große Smart TV mit allen möglichen Streaming-Diensten, auf die man sich mit dem eigenen Konto anmelden konnte, haben unseren Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht. Unsere Kinder waren begeistert von den Hängematten im Garten, die sie täglich genutzt haben. Muraj ist ein kleines idyllisches Örtchen, und wir haben es geliebt, dass ein tolles Restaurant in fußläufiger Nähe war. Die Lage war einfach perfekt für uns! Die Kommunikation mit Ante war super – er hat schnell auf unsere Nachrichten reagiert und ist auf unsere individuellen Wünsche eingegangen. Absolut Empfehlenswert!

This was the most tranquil holiday we have ever been on. With just the sound of the sea, and away from the world, it was a brilliant place to unwind. Stunning scenery, clear blue sea, fantastic night skies. A couple of things to note (for useful info): - take your own drinking water, the house is plumbed in with the water. Safe for general use and when boiled. - to use the boat you need a licence, but even without it the mainland is within reach by kayak for exploring. - if driving across to Dugi Otok then you will need the ferry to Brbinj, whereas by foot the ferry to Sali is better. It is worth considering the ferry times in your planning. Neven was friendly and responsive. He was extremely helpful when our check in ended up being later than we hoped. He provided transport to and from the island. He made great local recommendations. He even put us in touch with Jerko, a local taxi man who picked us up by boat for a trip to the supermarket. Great stay. Would highly recommend.

Lovro Kuščević, who is the owner of the place, could not have been a better or more attentive host. Marjan handled all of the pre-trip logistics and responded quickly, efficiently dealing with our questions. This is a slice of heaven. It was everything we had hoped. Secluded, peaceful and incredibly beautiful. We spent most of the time outdoors (second kitchen, dinner table, BBQ, sunbeds, hammock, great shade, swimming pool - the walk down to the private beach takes half a minute). We had snorkeling stuff, SUP boards, a rowboat and even a fishing rod! Inside was cozy and comfortable (but we only really slept inside). Lovro went above and beyond. He took us for a boat ride to some interesting spots; made us fish soup and a fish BBQ (catch from the previous night); gave us plenty of advice on places to visit and eat; was always available. An amazing host! We fell in love with his cats, Mimi and Panda. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would!!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt auf Dugi otok sehr genossen! Die Unterkunft ist modern eingerichtet, sehr sauber und verfügt über ausreichend Ausstattung. Bei Ankunft waren Getränke kaltgestellt und uns wurde frisches Brot, Käse und Wurst vorbei gebracht da der Supermarkt der Insel an diesem Tag geschlossen hatte. Der Balkon ist sehr groß und bietet eine perfekte Aussicht auf das Meer. Der Pool und die gesamte Anlage sind sehr gepflegt. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die freundlichen Vermieter und deren Eltern die uns bei jeglichen Anliegen unterstützt haben. Vielen Dank ! Wir haben nichts zu bemängeln und würden die Unterkunft zu 100 % weiterempfehlen.

We had the most amazing time in Tina’s residence on Koloçep. A beautiful location, secluded, surrounded by nature. Hike paths and the sea at your doorstep. Depending on the winds, you can do some sunbathing, and snorkeling in the bay! And any day you can do some great exploring on the island. When we were staying with Tina we were the only ones there which was really nice, all over the island was very quiet. You can easily hike for a few hours without encountering people after the summer season. (You will run into cute cats though!) Everything was very clean and we had everything we needed. We decided to hike from the port to the apartment, which was really fun to see the island upon arriving. It was quite a lot of up and down, especially with all the groceries we got from Dubrovnik it was quite a heavy trek but a nice challenge! (Don’t do this with suitcases!) Communication with Tina was very quick and easy. And we loved talking to Joško and sharing stories. We’ll be back ❤️
